Have we talked nursery themes??

This LO will get DS's old nursery. It's jungle theme with buttery yellow walls. Very gender neutral & calming. DS's name is still up on the wall, so we'll take that down & replace it with a new name. When DS moved to his big boy room he took his nice furniture with him. So this LO did get new black furniture, but same crib from DS. 

What's your nursery theme/ideas?

    If it's a girl we're doing butterflies in pink and purple.  If a boy blue and gray, we haven't decided on an animal yet.

    There's an existing chair rail in the nursery and we are painting all the trim and closet doors white (currently oak) then painting top portion of walls greige and bottom white or a lighter greige. Carpet off white and furniture dark chocolate brown. Not sure if we're incorporating any theme or animal though.

    We are having a boy! Walls a deep blue and a vintage airplane/travel theme. My husband and I are in the Air Force so airplans seemed perfect

    We can't paint in the apartment we are in, but have pale yellow curtains and will be doing a lot of green accessories (we're team green). All the animals and Pooh Bear aren't my style so I think it will mostly just be neutral colors and patterns...maybe a few frogs or ducks or something, but nothing overkill.

    We have gender neutral from DS when I was team green. We did yellow walls with Abc/animal theme. It was easy to add more boy touches when DS was born.

    Now we can add more since this is a boy too. If my DH had it his way... The room would be painted blue with red racing stripes! Lol!

    We've planned on Robots in Outer Space since before we knew the sex.  I think it's been more fun to start creating a more mix and match theme.
