For those who have more than one LO, when did your older LOs stop putting everything in their mouths? I guess I thought my LO would be doing it less by now since he will be one in just a couple of months, but everything still goes to the mouth!
I don't know if we are the norm, but Bradley will be 3 in a month and is just getting his 2 year molars in and EVERYTHING is in the mouth. He is also potty training, so it's super gross (if you catch my drift).
I'd say the constant in the mouth slows down when they have most of their teeth in.
Hate to burst your bubble @WasNotWas but DS1 just turned 2.5 and got his second molars well before his 2nd birthday.....he still chews on things! Mostly when he's vegged out watching tv but it's still a problem. Sometimes I ask him if he wants and cold chewy and he always takes it!
DD stopped putting objects in her mouth when all her teeth and molars were in (around 2) but now she chews on her nails and fingers and it drives me crazy!!
Ds1 just turned 3 and he still with put things in his mouth. It isn't all of the time but I do find myself telling him to get stuff out of his mouth. I would say that when he was about 1 1/2 he stopped consistently mouthing things.
