Right. Basically spotting most of the month and sometimes pretty heavy. Basically, I get a new period every week instead of every month. Along with the crazy hormones that go with having a period. It's a lot of fun...

I am proud of myself, I have already washed 1 load of clothes and its in the dryer now. I fed the dogs and I am about to change the trash, then its just on to the dishes. At this rate I will have it all done by noon and have a free afternoon

So I'm fucking brilliant, I decided to clean the crap out of my keyboard with one of those cans of air and I left my coffee cup right next to it so now there's detritus floating in my coffee.

Quick question for anyone who's here!! My nephew is over right now and I thought he needed a bottle so I made him one, picked him up and tried to give it to him but he had no part of it and fell asleep. I put the bottle in the fridge (formula).... Since he put his mouth on it for literally 5 seconds is it alright that I give it to him when he wakes up???

Oh boy we're in trouble now. MIL had to go out for a couple of hours, my friend K is covering for her and Isaac has been INCONSOLABLE since she got here. He's decided he doesn't know her well enough I guess. As soon as I go down and hold him, he settles down and smiles but when I leave, inconsolable wailing again. I feel so bad for him.

MIL will be back in an hour or so and I have to be on meetings so I think I'll let it go a bit longer. But the bigger issue here is NO MOAR DATE NIGHTS, since K or her teenage daughter were the ones who watched him on the odd Saturday night when we wanted to go out. I guess it's this stranger aversion thing we were warned about. I hope he grows out of it. :-|

I actually suggested this to DH, can we take B one night so that another night you guys can take Isaac. I am totally up for that. I really don't think 2 4-month olds is going to be 2X the work. I think it will be like 1.5X which is still plenty, but it would be fun for them to get to know each other so when they're older they can play.

Does B have the stranger aversion thing going on too? I guess Isaac is going to be a shy one. :-(

In my experience Boots this is the age that it happens and then I want to say it peeks again around 10ish months but I could be wrong.

The best thing for him at this point is to be with you or someone else he trusts while around unfamiliar people. Slowly work up to them holding him and such. Some kids are more typically shy than others but what your going thru right now, Totally normal.

Raylin is a happy go lucky baby. My oldest DD's best friends mom has seen her like 3x in life and Raylin has always been fine with her and let her hold her, this last Saturday though NO! She reached her arms out for Raylin and 10 seconds later she looked at me with this almost horrified look on her face and stared wailing. Needless to say that was the shortest period of time anyone has ever held her. Like 30seconds. Right when my hands got around her waist to take her back she was fine, it was like an instant change.

I know its frustrating but just hang tough!

We haven't left DS with anyone but my mom, and that was when he was less than a month old. He's so wary of everyone these days! Any tips to ease into a dinner out and leaving him with a friend (no family in town)? He doesn't go down for the night until at least 9 PM.

I am not flaming because I have done the same thing 1-2 hours......Once I think it was even closer to 3 hours BUT her mouth had never been on it, I made it in the anticipation she was waking up and for whatever reason she didn't and I passed out with the bottle on my dresser, when I woke up I thought F it, I am not wasting this formula.....nothing ever happened to her.
