So spring is here, well almost.
Do you plant any flowers? If so what kind?
I planted some tulips and hyacinths and the hostas I planted last year are coming up.
I want to plant more tulips and some petunias but H is already upset that I bought so many flowers last week.
I cant help it, I love the way they look and smell.

Re: Flowers
That's great @jackofthebox. I have 3 peony bushes in our back yard. They smell so great but they don't last for a long time.
H was upset and said I spend over $50 each year on flowers. He said I am turning our yard into a nursery. Its really not that many flowers and theyre all perennial.
I think I am obsessed with hyacinths. They smell so great.
I have tulips (white, yellow and red), hyacinths (pink, purple and white), few hosta plants, few dianthus plants, and 3 or 4 mini rose bushes and a John F Kennedy Rose.
They all come back year after year but I keep adding tulips and hyacinths.

Otherwise, no.. that's all. We're more into planting veggies over flowers.
Is it these?

It will be hard to walk out without flowers @jackofthebox. I went last week to buy soil that was on sale and walked out with $60 worth of flowers.
@bostonkisses2 they should be coming out now so if you see it just yank the bulb out.

I have three rose bushes in the back yard and one large on in the front yard. Since LO is so little I dont really have time to garden (yet) so everything is self maintaining for the time being.
Wow that is cheap.
That sounds great, you can add some daffodils too. I have a flower bed that has tulips in the middle and daffodils and hyacinths on the side.
