GTKY: How did you decide on LO's name?

    Symptoms? Still the awful heartburn - forgot to take my zantac this morning and then it was too late to take it because I want to be able to take it at a reasonable time so it will last all night.

    Upcoming appointments? Had my 36 week appointment today.... 1/2cm dilated, 60% effaced....not that any of that really matters.

    Rants/raves? Rave - I really like my doctor's office and the receptionist is always so sweet to DS.  She gives him a little something to him everytime we are there.  I'm going to bake them some cookies for next week.

    Rant - I'm having horrible, horrible cervical pain.  Everytime I stand up it is excruciating pain and it takes me a minute before I can start walking and even then it's still painful, but not quite as much.  I need it to go away...I could cry it hurts so bad.

    GTKY: How did you decide on LO's name?  Her name is Charlotte after her great grandmother (husband's grandmother) and middle name is Christine (my middle name and my mom's first name).

    Week/fruit? 33 weeks, durian (whatever that is)
    Symptoms? BH every night, swollen ankles, foot cramps if I don't have at least 1 banana that day
    Upcoming appointments? Just had a perinatal on Friday, don't have to go back there. Just had an OB today, and will go back in 2 weeks, then every week from that point on
    Rants/raves? Rant: So done with this grad paper. One more week, one more week, one more week. Rave: My DH is a saint. Seriously. 
    GTKY: How did you decide on LO's name? It was from the Bump :) Before I knew about the boards, we got the weekly emails that said the baby size. I would always tell DH her size, and for some reason "Baby Olive" (from week...10?) stuck.  Since we are both teachers, we wanted something that wasn't a name of a student, and Olive Rose was it.

    Week/fruit? 35 weeks, coconut (I think)
    Symptoms? When she moves around a lot, it really hurts down low where her head is smushing everything and feels like it is pinching the crap out of nerves that go into my thighs.  Also I'm so tired… it is like 1st tri tiredness all over again.
    Upcoming appointments? I will have one next week, and then it goes to every week.  My last one was an unannounced strep B test and I can only imagine my pubes looked like a dog chewed on them (I periodically shave by waving the razor around down there and hoping for the best).  I never heard back about my results so I am going to hope that is a good thing.
    Rants/raves? Rant: DH is gone this week on a business trip and I miss him.  Rave: Well, OK, it is kind of nice to have a little me time where I can just lay my ass on the couch and not worry about cooking real dinner (tonight I had an apple with peanut butter and lima beans).
    GTKY: How did you decide on LO's name? We made a name list, and Lily was what we could agree on.  The middle name, May, was my Grandma's middle name, and it flowed well.

    Symptoms?
    Ring finger on my right had is completely numb. It's been like this for 2 weeks but my dr doesn't seem concerned. Oh well?

    Next Monday

    Rants/raves?
    Rant: It was 95 degrees today. FML
    Rave: I have my piano recital this weekend for my kiddos and then I'm done teaching for the summer!

    GTKY: How did you decide on LO's name?
    The first name- we kept saying names and found one we both loved. The middle name is DH's late grandfather.

    Week/fruit? 33 weeks/durian

    Symptoms? Not sleeping well, hips getting sore from only sleeping on my side. Body pillow doesn't seem to be helping much anymore. Also, i'm exhausted! A banana a day keeps the leg/foot cramps away!

    Upcoming appointments? I have appt. tomorrow, for the standard 2 week check.

    Rants/raves? Rant: I just want a full nights sleep or a morning when my 2 year old sleeps past 7am. I have a feeling that won't happen. Rave: trying to plan a quick overnight trip for the 3 of us before the baby arrives :)

    GTKY: How did you decide on LO's name? We haven't decided yet on a name for our #2 DS. Our 1st we just agreed very early on, on the name Andrew and the middle name was a family last name.

    Sorry I'm a little late!!!

    Week/fruit?     33 weeks/ Durian (wtf is that?) fruit

    Symptoms? Heartburn from hell! Been having some not so great symptoms of racing heart getting worse/more frequent, dizzy, seeing sparks in front of my eyes and really fatigued... all while I'm just relaxing... told my OB last week and she's running some blood tests to test my thyroid function. So hopefully the results are back in at next week's appt.

    Upcoming appointments? Monday, check up.

    Rants/raves? Rants: Annoyed with my army company that they NEVER send out our information for our drill weekend on time!! You know what's happening for the weekend MONTHS in advance and I never receive the info? I have a squad of lower enlisted to take care of and makes me look like a POS. UGH!!! Raves: Our shower this past weekend was AMAZING! MIL did a great job! Though I'm happy it's over cause she was starting to go insane and more forgetful than normal. Now it's all about organizing everything... OMG.

    GTKY: How did you decide on LO's name? We wanted something traditional but not SUPER popular. We love Amelia because it reminds us of Amelia Earhart, who is such a strong, amazing female figure. And I just love the middle name as Grace, it's just so pretty. And DH liked it... so YAY! It was either that or my middle name Elyse.

    @likeabel - I know some people that have carpel tunnel-type problems when they are pregnant.  You might try wearing a wrist brace to bed and see if that helps.

    @hatrats‌ thanks for the suggestion! I have a wrist support that's supposed to help with carpel tunnel that I wear off and on but it usually makes another finger fall asleep. Maybe it's time for an upgrade to a full on wrap!

    I at first read that as "I lose poop..." as in you were just walking around with no bowel control and crap coming out in your pants.  I was a bit scared, thinking... oh man... THAT is a symptom?

    I didn't have a chance to check-in to our ticker yesterday. What a week so far!

    Week/fruit? 33 weeks, Durian Fruit

    Symptoms? Thankfully, my heartburn hasn't been too bad. I've been really tired and am still having BH contractions.

    Upcoming appointments? On Monday 4/14, I have an u/s for sizing. Afterwards, I have have an OB appointment (weekly now until DS arrives)

    Rants/raves? NBR, but I've been waiting over a week for an offer letter to come through for the new position I'm moving to at my company. A reorg was just announced late yesterday though, and now I'm stressing that it will hold up my move to the new position. Ugh.

    GTKY: How did you decide on LO's name? DH and I still have not settled on a name. We have it narrowed down to about 3. I'm so over the fact that we don't have the name yet. Everyone constantly asks me every day what the baby's name will be. I keep hoping to find the perfect, "just right" name hits me, but so far, nada. At least we definitely know the middle name (Roger), after my Father.

    Symptoms? well just like others.... not sleeping well. Today my feet and ankles are nice and Shrek looking....

    Upcoming appointments?Monday..... I had been going fridays and mainly the PA is there. So now I guess time to make sure I rotate through the docs.

    Rants/raves? Really need to wrap some things up at work, but no desire to. Ha.

    GTKY: How did you decide on LO's name? well DD#2 is still unnamed. DD#1.... we just liked Madilyn. Josephine is after a family friend on my side and DH's great grandma.

    Week/fruit? 35 like above, but mine says coconut for some reason! (I too am a day late!)

    Symptoms? My feet hurt a lot if I stand for more than an hour (like in a store).  They feel like I've been standing all day.  Forgetful and tired, and I have to pee all the time. Constantly.  Sometimes every thirty minutes (because the doctors told me to start drinking 8 glasses a day, though I'm only at 6 lol).

    Upcoming appointments? Had one today.  Got the Strep B test swab thingie.  Got one more at 2 weeks before I'm down to every one!

    Rants: I love/hate writing a gazillion thank you notes.
    Raves: But I just had my baby shower last weekend and my two best friends did an amazing job.  So happy!!

    GTKY: How did you decide on LO's name? Melody was the name we both liked, (I was thinking of the Pussycats' drummer.)  Rose was the original name (my DH is a Doctor Who fan) and I liked it because it was the only flower that ever grows in my garden.

    Symptoms? Hips, lower back pain making sleeping almost impossible; swelling has started, tons of pressure on cervix.

    Upcoming appointments? Had one yesterday, they are checking for pre-e. Next one is in two weeks!

    Rants/raves? Have so much to do and no energy to do it!

    GTKY: How did you decide on LO's name?

    DH and I both agreed that his grandfathers name Elen would be the middle. We looked up the origin of the name, welsh, and looked for first names in the same culture. Rhys means "enthusiastic" which judging by how active he is, it's standing true!
    In memory of the angel babies that were too perfect for Earth.
