Pregnancy and Allergies

Sorry to post again.  I am feeling awful this morning.  I'm pretty sure it's allergies.  Is there anything you can take while pregnant for allergies?  I took tylenol pm before bed the other night, which has the same ingredient as benadryl, so I guess benadryl is safe.  But there's no way I could take that at work.  I'd be passed out at my desk.  Anything else?  TIA!

    Thanks Ducky!  I'll call my OB to make sure she agrees, I think I have some zyrtec at home.  Does it make you sleepy at all?

    I second zyrtec. There isn't really anything in it that should make you sleepy. I've always taken it in the morning and have been fine.

    Yep Zyrtec or Claritin are fine. I take a Zyrtec generic as I'm allergic to my dogs and pregnancy makes it a lot worse. I don't think it's ever made me drowsy but like pp said it's a 24 hr so i take it before bed.
