How much formula to feed?

Just wondering, is 4 oz of formula too much to feed my 1 month old? He just turned a month today, I've been increasing the amount by a half an ounce per week. Honestly I'm pretty much blind when he comes to this. When I left the hospital I was breastfeeding so I didn't get much info on formula feeding. but when I got home after the first week I switched to formula. He seems to be doing okay with 4 oz approx every 3 hours. At night time usually there is one feeding he goes 4-4.5 hours between a feeding.

My little one is about 2 weeks shy of 2 months and drinks 4-6 oz. But yes, around a month he was starting to drink 4 oz.

DS has been eating 4oz bottles for about a week and a half and is 3w. A good rule is if your LO completely finishes a bottle more often then not its time to add an oz. Here is a good FF resource.
