What ways do your kidlettes "help" that ends up causing you more work?
Last night, Fifi was "helping" me with cleaning the bunny cages. She did this by grabbing handfuls of the shredded bedding (the kind that is compressed in the package) and pulling pieces of it out to drop in their cages. More of it ended up stuck to her jammies and landing on the floor. She was so happy to be helping it was cute. Well, I wasn't planning on vacuuming... sigh She also likes to help feed the bunnies. I put the lettuce on top of their cages and she pushes it in. This normally works very well but now she's decided helping means she takes some lettuce leaves and nibbles on them herself. I am perfectly okay with this kind of helping.
Re: You call that "help" kid?
DD hasn't really hit this phase yet. If I'm folding laundry she will empty out the laundry basket so she can play with it and if I'm vacumming she will run back and forth as if I'm chasing her. She's not too interested in doing the chore itself (I wonder where she gets that from?).
I look forward to this "fun" and "helpful" phase!
