Lightweight stroller suggestions?

So we are beginning our registry and thus far registered for the chicco keyfit car seat with the chicco air3 jogging stroller. I'm on the hunt for a second umbrella stroller and have no clue what to get. I've read excellent reviews on the mcclaren but it's $269! Is it worth the money or is getting a graco for $150 just as good? Thanks ladies!!

    I have a Chicco Liteway Plus and highly recommend it. It is light, small and compact, easy to fold/unfold, has a decent storage basket and sunshade and reclines almost all the way. ETA: the Liteway Plus an also accommodate the Chicco Keyfit infant seats. They also have a basic model that does not work with the infant seats.

    I love my gluxe.  You can check craigs list and see if you can buy one used.  I've definitely gotten more than my moneys worth with it.

  • I loved our Bumbleride Flite. Not sure if they still make it, but I'm sure you could find one on Craigslist.
  • Love my Uppa Baby GLite. Reclines all the way and has a huge canopy/sun shade. Best investment.

    This! I got my Maclaren Quest on major sale from Albee Baby. It was one of the"limited editions" that they were trying to get rid of and it even came with the foot muff thingie for free. I wanna say I paid less than $150 for it. We love it and DS seems very comfortable in it.

    I would consider the Chicco Liteway if you're are getting the Chicco Key Fit Car Seat since the car seat can snap into the Liteway to make it a travel system.  The Liteway isn't really considered lightweight since weighs 18 lbs so here are some other suggestions for lighter weight umbrella strollers you may be interested in:  https://www.lucieslist.com/umbrella-strollers/

  • Maclaren Volvo stroller, it's only 7lbs and has a shoulder strap. I had it for my first child and will be purchasing another for #2... When I got it it was on sale for $99... It's been on 2 vacations and been used for 3yrs and it is still in perfect condition. I highly recommend!

    It's pretty lightweight as far as a regular stroller goes but it's not as light as an umbrella stroller.  I have the vista which I believe weighs as much as the britax but I also bought an umbrella stroller so I can keep it in the trunk of my car and it's about half the weight of my vista.

    We have the B-Safe and B-Agile.  The B-Agile is 16.5 lbs which is pretty dang light for a full size stroller considering the Baby Trend Snap N Go frame is 12 lbs.  As far as our 2012 model, I can carry it and fold it with one hand although getting it open generally uses 2.  We've been extremely happy with both the stroller and car seat and I highly recommend.
    Edit:  Per Britax website B-Agile is 16.5 lbs.  It doesn't specify between 2012, 2013, 2014 models although amazon.com has them at different weights.

    She is talking about the Liteway Plus, which is not the same as the regular Liteway, just to clarify.
    @Grace0609 Thanks for clarifying.
