Sorry I'm late on this - I was miserably sick this morning. Still sick, but with tylenol, I managed to get out of bed. I'm now at my desk, still miserable. I'm going to the CVS across the street to pick up whatever meds I can safely take while pregnant and then probably going home around 3 if I can. I feel like death.
Anyone else want to share?
Re: Monday Morning (afternoon) vents
Yes, I agree that it is weird.
Add me to the sickness train! But mine is somewhat tolerable for now - just this annoying cough that is really deep. I am not coughing often but when I do, it sounds like I am trying to get a lung out.
I also feel bad that I asked DH to take DS to his parent's house yesterday for a couple of hours. DS is at an age where he is climbing everywhere - one the couch, the stairs etc. and you have to watch him closely or else he could seriously hurt himself. I just needed a break from him but now I feel guilty.
I have a sinus infection, and I feel sorry for myself.
A vendor I work with frequently is being a royal pain in the ass. My usual contact is great, but her boss is being a biotch and I'm tired of dealing with it.
I made chili last night in the slow cooker, but it turned out sub-par compared to last time. I forgot to rinse the beans before dumping them in and I think that's why. Aaand this is supposed to be my lunch for the week *cries*
@PrivacyWanted - we get a weekly email from DD's teachers about weather appropriate clothing. Every week. The content varies based on the season but it is always about remembering a jacket, shoes for playground, etc. This week's is copied below. I am always baffled that there are that many parents who aren't aware of the weather?
Weather Appropriate Clothing: With spring here we do have some days where the weather is warmer but keep in mind when the weather is not so great we still go outside. Please make sure that your child has a warm waterproof jacket with a hood. We have had many instances where a child only has a sweatshirt in the rain and they get all wet. Also please keep in mind your child’s shoes for the weather. Sandals are great for warmer weather but not so great in the rain.J We just want to make sure everyone is safe and staying healthy! Please let us know if you have any questions.
