Anyone have experience with it? It's looking like I have it in my right hand. I see the hand specialist next week. Lots of aleve until then. What was your experience. What helped. Didn't help.
I think I started to develop this from constantly playing a game on my iPhone - I have a desk job and would play it while on conference calls etc. after a while I noticed my hand would start cramping and I had some pain in my wrist so I just stopped playing it completely and it went away. Can you identify what is causing your pain and modify accordingly? My secretary had a true case of it and had to have surgery but is fine now. Good luck!!
I work at a desk.. In an office that to cheap to buy a paper shredder. So, I hand rip stacks of paper. And do normal tasks in a drs office. There's really no getting around it. And it's definitely getting worse. I noticed it months ago. And just didn't think anything of it but now it's getting pretty bad
You could try some alternative therapy such as chiropractic/massage. For sure try this before opting for the surgery! It does not always work, as this is commonly misdiagnosed. As a massage therapist I see people for this all the time, and I'm happy to say that I've helped many! I find that in a lot of cases the real issue is coming from the neck and shoulders, impinging the nerve there.
Hope you find some relief!
