I stink!

I know when you're pregnant and breastfeeding your hormone levels are higher and it can cause more sweating.  I have no idea why I am sweating more now when I've been done nursing for six months.  I was using degree deodorant and now switched to secret and I smell even worse.  It's so embarrassing and I smell two hours after putting on deodorant.  It's not even hot and humid here yet so that isn't effecting my sweating issue. Does anyone have a good suggestion for deodorant?  Thanks!

  • Omg I could have written this myself. My bo is far worse after lo was born. I use ban roll on and it seems to be helping. I also keep some at work just in case. I know this sounds gross but I also put it under my boobs too since that is one pp symptom thT never went away.

  • I use the Degree clinical strength deoderant. Only thing that will work and keep me from sweating and stinking.

  • I'm not currently having this problem (thankfully!), but all through my pregnancy and early postpartum period I stunk to high heaven! I had some luck using my husband's deodorant (Old Spice Sport, I think), but still felt like I had to shower twice a day.

  • I switch around between different clinical strength brands. If I use the same one too much it'll stop working. Switching things up seem to help. Right now I'm using Dove Clinical.

  • Clinical strength is the way to go.  I was using Degree, but the smells were getting to me.  I have switched to Secret.  The smells are weaker.

  • I use Certain Dri, it is a roll on and I think they recommend you put it on every night and then you still use your regular deodorant in the morning.

  • I actually get best results from Avon's roll on deodorant.

  • I've heard if you put your deodorant on before bed, it helps sink into your skin more over night and is more effective the next day. Not sure if it works or not, but could be worth a try.

  • I don't usually smell, but I still get damp and I've used the clinical strength of several different brands and the Certain dri.  I would suggest trying one of these. Sorry, I'm not help.  There is a prescription deodorant but I heard it can burn.
  • I have this same problem. Does anyone know if the clinical brands affect sensitive skin? Old Spice Sport is the only deodorant that doesn't give me a rash and despite being a man's deodorant it still doesn't cut it! Hoping this goes away after nursing.
  • omg I love the kitty video you have there :)

Mine got worse after nursing.  How is that even possible?  I just bough Dove and I'm going to give that a try.
