Pregnant after IF

Diclegis for morning sickness?

Hi ladies! Just wondering if any of you are taking Diclegis for morning sickness? Our RE put me on it last week due to severe vomiting. I'm not noticing much help from it, except for it making me feel extra tired. Not to mention my insurance doesn't cover it. Anyone else not have any relief from it? I have my first OB appt tomorrow, I'm hoping she will let me try something different. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

Re: Diclegis for morning sickness?

  • Here is my regimen: I take two diglecis at night, around 7pm. Yes, it makes me tired too, so I take it and go to bed around 9. Then I set my alarm an hour early and take a zofran and a colace and go back to sleep for an hour. Then I take another zofran and colace around 3pm - and the process starts over. If I do that whole routine and eat every two hours, I usually don't throw up although I still have bad days here at 13 weeks. It's horrible and I'm so sorry you are going through this!

  • Unisom was THE only thing that saved me. I only wish I had started trying it sooner than 14+ weeks.

    Hope you feel better :(

  • I did unisom and b6, Zofran, and Phenergan.  Zofran helped the most, but gives horrible, crippling constipation.

  • Thank you ladies! My OB added Zofran into my mix, it seemed to help a LOT today. I was so excited to be able eat something other than dry Cheerios and toast :) Hallelujah!
