Hello, I am posting here because I am scared to death. We lost our first pregnancy at 21 weeks on December 23, 2014. Owen Sage lived for about an hour. 
We were not exactly TTC, but not using BC consistently either. I had a doctor's appointment with a new gyn and had to think about the first day of my last menstrual cycle. It was like a lightbulb turned on in a new room. So I peed on a stick and now I am awake at 4am terrified that this could be a bad development. I mean it could be amazing and wonderful and be the happily ever after that makes Owen the scary first part of the story. The thing is no one could give me any reason why my water broke at 21 weeks. There was no "problem" so there was nothing to fix. I feel conflicted about it there was no problem so there should be no impediment to this being happy and healthy, but there was no "problem" last time and that ended in a heartbreak I couldn't imagine before it happened. 

So here goes nothing. I look forward to hearing from all of you and best wishes on your journies

    I'm so sorry for the loss of your precious Owen Sage. Lots of ((((hugs)))). Congratulations on this pregnancy. I hope it's a boring, happy, and healthy 9 months :).

    Once we were all in a similar situation, being scared of going through the same thing all over, but remember, this is a new pregnancy!  Congratulations and welcome! :)

    Congratulations and welcome!  I'm so sorry for your loss but this board is definitely a wonderful place to be to help calm the PgAL crazy when you need it.  (((hugs))) and congratulations again!

    Testing on mom and dad for possible reasons all came back normal.
    BFP #3 8/4/2009 | DD born 3/28/10 @ 38 weeks

    Testing results all returned normal and baby was a GIRL.
    More testing on mom and dad for other issues all returned normal results.

    I am so sorry for your loss of your sweet baby Owen. I know the heartache all too well myself and also the fear of it happening again. I really hope this is your rainbow! Congrats and welcome!

    Thank you all so much. 
    RN536, I have yet to meet with the new GYN doc, I was filling out their online new patient paperwork when the revelation hit me. I do plan on seeing a high-risk doctor, the one I was transferred to during the ordeal. 
    I was seeing midwives, who are probably great, but not for what happened to me. I just don't want to jump the gun because I did find out so early.
