So I was wondering if any of you are taking a baby moon and how far away are u planning on going/what are you planning on doing? I would like to do something but I am a FTM and don't know when would be the right time to go when I'm still not too tired to have a good time.

we are taking a very small babymoon to Milwaukee (dh is from there originally). Just a long weekend in may, ( i'll be 22 weeks). This wasn't even technically planned as a babymoon, but DH grandfather had a stroke recently so we want to be able to visit this summer, and no chance we can afford to go on a "real" babymoon!

When I was Pregnant with DD we did an offseason beach trip at 27ish weeks for a long weekend. This time well probably just take one last family beach trip the three of us around the same time.

We are taking one in two weeks - a long weekend in Santa Fe with no kids, spa treatments, etc. I can't wait!

We are planning a babymoon, but haven't booked anything. We are planning on either doing a trip to Atlanta or Nashville. Places we have talked about visiting for years. Hoping to do it during the second trimester, but it is going by quickly!

Unfortunately we have planned an Epic Road trip! Cruise. We are driving from PA ti BiL in Georgia. Spending 2-3 days there and then driving to Fla for a 4 day cruise to the Bahamas. After that we are driving to KY for DH'S cousins wedding memorial day weekend. All in less than 2 weeks.... Also it's 3 days before Carnival has the preggo cutoff (you can't be 25 weeks when you get off the ship in case you were wondering)

My husband and I have a slight travel obsession. Usually we take two week long trips a year and then maybe a weekend somewhere as well. At my new job it's taken a while to save enough vacation days this year, and they're all rolling in this spring/summer. We are going to DC to do touristy stuff when I'm 25 weeks in May and going to Vegas for shows and food in late June when I'll be 30 weeks. It will be hot, but I've already bought my suit. At 19 weeks, I'm not showing yet and I've been keeping up running so hopefully I'll have no problem walking a lot on both trips. Counting down to my vacations! They'll probably be our last big ones for a while. :-)

DH and I are going to Jamaica for 4 nights in two weeks. My parents are watching DS for us that week and our daycare was closed anyway so we said, why not?

We are doing a long trip in mid-May to Asheville - Savannah - Charleston. We are bringing E, but we're also traveling with our nanny. I'm hoping to get some spa time and we'll have a few nights out as well.

We'll probably go away for our anniversary in mid-July, but just a long weekend, probably a spa. We'll leave E with my parents.

We have a family trip in early Aug, so we'll go to OBX too, right around 32 weeks.

We have a cruise and trip to see my fam in florida planned for early May. I'll be 21 weeks in the middle of it all. It's a little chunk of change, but we won't be comfortable doing a cruise for several years, so it's now or never! And this will be our yearly trip to see my family, so at least we don't have to spend double on plane tickets, since that part was already saved up.

I have been thinking a lot about this also. I feel like we really need some 'us' time. We are in mid-atlantic I am thinking a long weeked in Florida or Arizona. Pool side with spa treatments totally vegging out is my plan.

We are going to HI in mid-late May. It wasn't initially planned as a babymoon, just a vacation and my need to see a friend and familiar places (I used to live and work there, H has never been). I'll be about 21-22 weeks.

I don't know if I consider it a baby moon but we are going to Arizona in May to visit my parents, and from there we are going to Vegas (with my parents) for a few days. I'm bummed I won't be able to walk around Vegas with a giant fruity alcoholic drink in my hand, but I'm excited for the hotel pool, food, sunshine, and shows

I'll be 22 weeks. My OB said the second trimester is usually the best time to travel.

Other than that, we want to try to plan a long weekend together maybe at the beach. Just for the two of us.

dh and I are doing a long weekend in June. I will be right around 30 weeks I think. We are going to see book of mormon and get a hotel room for the night. The next night we are going to a detroit symphony orchestra concert and have an amazing hotel booked downtown for that night as well. So we are basically staying near home within an hour drive for both, but staying at super nice hotels for each night.

We're planning on going to Denver the first weekend of June (also our 5 yr anniversary). Not sure what we'll do...definitely hit up IKEA, probably just sight see and maybe do a day trip or two....take it easy and relax! I'll be about 25 weeks. We did a pre-TTC trip to Europe a couple years ago and am so thankful we took it! No regrets at all about that one.

We too are going to Santa Fe in two weeks for our babymoon. I'll be 19 weeks then and the plans are just to relax, and take in the sites and eat great food. I will also go to the spa while I am there.

We are going to Destin and New Orleans in June. We are driving from San Antonio cause my hubby doesn't fly but only a 12 hour drive to Destin. Hope I'm not miserable!

My DH was so sure that he was not going to get any time off due to projects/deadlines at work, but somehow he was able to score a week off in mid-May. He was really wanting to go to HI so after I got approval for time off as well, we booked flights and a place first thing!

I will be 22-23 weeks at this time. Seeing how my energy has been so much better in the past couple weeks. We plan to just explore and take it easy. I don't think it will be a problem at all, especially since I heard the 2nd trimester is the best time for a babymoon.

17 weeks and just got back from a week of sailing on a catamaran in St Msrtin, St Bart's and Anguilla! I have had awful morning sickness and the week if sailing had been my best week so far. I did take Dramamine and it worked so well I asked if I could contribute use when I got back but doc said no. Highly recommend a baby moon!!!

Long weekend in Lake Geneva...DH has a golf tourney near there, so I'll do some shopping/spa time that day, and we'll golf together another.

We're hoping to do a long weekend down at the beach towards the end of the Summer as kind of a last hurrah before the baby comes. Ideally, I'd like to also use that time to hire a photographer and take some belly shots on the beach (not in a bathing suit, more like those gauzy gowns and sunset-type pics).

We're also going to Destin, FL next month for a few days, but that is a combined work/honeymoon trip, so there will be more going on than just us hanging out on the beach.

We were already planning on visiting some friends in Hawaii in July so we figured we'd just fold the babymoon into that trip.
