My daughter is 8 weeks and she has always nursed well with a nipple shield. The past couple weeks, she has been extra fussy at the breast and pulling off after only 5 minutes. Usually I can get her to feed enough so she's satisfied after only a short time. But the past couple days, she has been pulling off and fussing, but still acting hungry so I've given her a pumped bottle and she'll take an extra 1 or 2 ounces. My question is when you pump to replace the feed how long do you pump for? I can usually get 4+ ounces in 10 minutes, but I don't know if that's long enough. Also, how many ounces and how often does an 8 week old typically eat? Thanks for any help/support!
