I have a wedding to go to the end of May. I don't have anything acceptable. I was looking at Lane Bryant and their dresses are like $80 plus.

Where else has nice reasonable dresses?

Torrid & JCPenney.com. In store Penney's doesn't have a lot, but I've had success online. I like a lot of the ones at Torrid. Mainly because they make me feel like I'm young enough to still be wearing them. :-)

Also, I discovered this site last week and haven't ordered anything yet, but I really, really, really want to. When I'm not pregnant. This might be a good option for you since you said you're different sizes on top than on bottom. You can customize dresses by size and even change the straps, neckline, etc. This site has such cute prints. I mean come on, they have a flamingo dress!

I have had good luck with Target too! I do like Lane Bryant a lot though.

Saw that. I guess my concern is not finding something that fits me. I know what styles flatter but not sure of size sometimes.

Rent the Runway has plus size dresses. I find the reviews really helpful and they send you two sizes of the dress.

I would highly recommend rent the runway! I have used them a couple times and really enjoy their service. The dresses hmp picked out are beautiful!

I think you could pull it off!

I don't have any hips or butt. I could literally wear a 12 to 14 pant but an 18 to 20 top. So I need something at the natural waste that a lines out. Or an empire waist type dress. I would not mind my size if my weight was proportional.

Shoot, someone on here just had the perfect dress.....hopefully I can find it. Message me if you are interested in this.... XL. Perfect for the bottom you are describing. You could put something under or over if you want.
