  Umm i was induced NOT BY CHOICE and labor with pitocin was a bitch. I besides it was the only surprise left. I wanted that moment of "OMG IT"S TIME!"

  That seems very dodgy-- esp since they recently changed the medical definition of full term to 39 weeks.

  That's crazy how inductions are so common in your area!

  That's crazy! I'm in Birmingham, and the only women I've know to give birth early did so due to a medical emergency (like me) or actually had their water break and went into labor a couple of weeks early. Most pregnant women in these parts are walking around at 40 weeks pregnant hoping to be induced. It's crazy how things can be so different, even in the same state! My house is about an hour away from Montgomery.
