NBR: The Easter Bunny

Am I the only mother that thinks the easter bunny is a total creep? While I do Easter pics with little live bunnies I refuse to do the creepy mall picture. Who's with me? Part of me feels like Im depriving my kid but I think she validated me by saying Ew when she saw my SILs picture.

I'm not a fan either; they just look big and creepy. We're still going to have baskets and hidden eggs from the Easter Bunny, but we'll be steering clear of the mall bunny.

I am a FTM so I haven't made any decisions on it yet, but I remember going every year as a kid. I recently saw that Bass Pro Shops do Easter Bunny free photos like their Santa ones. Anyone tried Bass Pro's Easter Bunny? Their Santa is normally better than malls, so I am wondering if the bunny is too.

I was the kid that never believed and always wondered why my parents were obviously lying to me. I can't get behind Santa or the bunny. We'll do baskets and gifts, but we'll discuss the real reasons for celebrating instead.

So creepy. I can do Santa. But I'll never force them to sit on his lap. Last year, we waited in line, and dd didn't want to, so we left. I feel strongly that she should have an opinion of what or where her body goes.

I think the easter bunny in the mall is super creepy. DD met the easter bunny at a birthday party last year and it was LOVE! We probably won't do pics but I'll let her see him if she seems interested. She's terrified to sit with santa but loves to wave from a distance. I usually let her lead the way on these things.
