I have had heartburn from the day I found out I was pregnant and probably around 28 weeks I started with acid reflux especially at night. Literally right as I fall asleep I have to run to the bathroom to throw up. Either I throw up OR sometimes it won't come all the way up which is disgusting. I am taking 2 Zantac 150 a day, I eat smaller meals especially in the evening and I am using an essential oil that has helped some. Anyone else have any other ideas? I have had a wonderful pregnancy up until this and I am exhausted because I can't sleep.
Re: 32 weeks and really suffering from acid reflux!!!
Feel better!
I've dealt with acid reflux issues for a long time, so I know how painful and frustrating it can be. I was taking just tums up until last week, when I broke down and started taking Zantac which was suggested by my OB.
Are you drinking milk or having a lot of dairy? Its a common misconception that it will help, but milk/dairy has a lot of lactic acid which will contribute to the acid reflux, especially if you have it before bed and then try to lay down.
Good luck!

Edit to add: I understand wanting to go all-natural but there are severe consequences to ignoring acid reflux, even only while pregnant. You can quickly develop Barrett's Esophagus syndrome, which is basically pre-cancer from not treating the acid, which leads to corrosion. I feel there is a time to be natural and a time to take advantage of modern medicine.
