The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

Just a little word to the wise...you may not want to see this movie while you are hormonal and pregnant.  It is one of the best movies I have ever seen in my life (and my husband and I go to the movies at least once every few weeks)  Its one of those movies that makes you really feel for the characters and I couldn't stop thinking about it all night.  It is very sad...but in a good way and needless to say I cried like a baby.  We had to sit in the theator for a while so I could calm down, and when I got in the car I started crying again.  We go to the movies a lot on Sunday nights and I have NEVER seen the theator that crowded before.

  • Really?  I really wanted to see it...thanks for the heads up.  I'll make sure we go on a good day and that I bring tissues!
  • I saw it last night and I loved, loved, LOVED it!!!! I'm online right now looking for the soundtrack. It was an absolutely breathtakingly beautiful movie and I cried like a baby at the end.

I did not think it was a really sad movie. Life and death are sad if you think about it.

I can't stop thinking about it either. It was such an interesting premise.

  • A Beautiful Mind made me feel like that.  Is it kinda similar, the feelings?

I might just wait until it comes out on video.

  • Thanks for the heads up - I'm actually really excited to see this movie, but we don't go to the theater much so I might wait for rental...then I can cry like a baby in the peace of my own home!
