letrozole/femera

hello, I'm new. I am a long cycler/bad ovulator. I am currently waiting the arrival of my medically induced period to begin. I took letrozole/femara with my first pregnancy after 2 rounds of clomid & iui's did not work. Anyway, my question to you, because I do not remember is if I am taking it cd 3-7, around how long after the last pill should I ovulate?! My dr is having me do bbt, never did that before, so will it show a big spike when I ovulate? Thanks for the help.

    I can only tell you my experience. I took it CD 5-9 and o ovulated on CD 17 which was the earliest I had at that point.

    My expereince with taking either of those CD 3-7 has been to ov around day 16. I havent done BBT in a while but If I recall correctly, there is a big spike in your temp after you ovulate (please double check me, I am not %100 on that) Good luck!!!

    Yes, Letrozole/Femara is usually taken CD3-7 or CD4-8 or CD5-9 depending on when your baseline is.  It all depends on you when you O.  You get a temp spike AFTER you ovulate.  Three days of increased temp will confirm O.  So, just BD EOD until you confirm O.
