Slow Eater

Lately it seems like it takes my LO forever to finish a bottle.  He used to down 3-3.5 oz in like 20 minutes and now it's taking him an hour because he keeps refusing to take the bottle in the middle of the feeding, after we burp.  We have to stop and take breaks, otherwise he'll just leave the bottle in his mouth but not suck on it.  I'm wondering if he has a stomach ache or something.  This has been going on for like 2 weeks now.

    This is my LO! She just turned 6 weeks yesterday and literally slept all day took at least an hour to eat & I had to keep waking her up. The past 2 nights she will only take an oz and then seals her little mouth shut and doesn't take anymore. Then wakes up cranky.

    @JammersC‌ occasionally he will cry or arch his back but not usually. I just wondered if maybe something was bothering him bc he used to drink the bottle so much faster.

    @Brookie8511‌ yup. Same thing. He will just close his mouth. Or if I get the bottle into it, he won't suck. But then he will eat again like 15 min later. He didn't used to do this.

    I've noticed that my LO is doing something similar. Eats half the bottle relatively quickly and the second half is more of a struggle. I definitely think it has to do with being distracted. A few times he will have the bottle in his mouth and just start smiling. Hard to get mad over it cuz it's do cute and he's happy but still...he needs to eat! So not much advice but you aren't alone.
