Is it possible he's not ready for that to be bedtime? Because of how often I'm feeding her, LO doesn't go down for the night until 10ish, but she always nurses right to sleep and stays that way til 330 or so. We're going to have to work it a little earlier in the evening as I got back to work, but for now and for her age, it makes sense.

Could he be overtired? I know my LO is more difficult to put down if he is overtired- He will fight sleep, cry like a banshee and bedtime takes twice as long.
We usually start bedtime between 7:30-8, usually when we see him getting sleepy. We then do our routine of bath, feed/ books then bed. After feeding, he is usually very drowsy so we rock up a bit then put him down. When we put him down he's wide awake again..... Lol. To settle him I usually go back to feeding him cause he won't settle any other way. And then we are back to him being drowsy then him waking up when put down... Any suggestions?
I start our bedtime routine about 7, and usually it takes about 1.5-2hrs. I give a bath, change him and dress him in pajamas, try not to do anything too stimulating, and then nurse/burp routine. Sometimes it just takes a while. Also, my son won't go to sleep on his own at this point. I have to nurse him to sleep, hold/rock him for 10-30min and then he goes down. He will eventually outgrow it, but my son needs to feel comforted for a while.
Sounds like it just takes him some time to wind down. Sorry no suggestions here.

My LO starts to get tired around 5:30, 6pm. We do bathtime, swaddle, and rock her until she falls asleep -- usually takes about 1.5 hours. Lately she's been down for the count by 7pm, and sleeps until around 1am.
