Everything went very well, but I was surprised that a lot of the items we received did not show as purchased on our registry (even though we have gift reciepts for some of these). It was BRU that didn't update well for us. So I'm going to return and re-buy the items so we get credit for the "sweetest deal" registry thing. Did you have any issues with BRU not updating your registry? We've had several issues with BRU all along, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised. I don't suggest registering there based upon our experiences.

Regardless, I wouldn't return/re-buy unless you try other things first like going to customer service and asking them to just mark it as purchased.
