At my appointment know. Waiting to get seen found out my bp was low and I could not get my sugar test done so I need to see what they want me to do about that today. Will update when my appointment is done.
I had my appointment this morning. Everything looked good. They were happy with my blood sugars log and said if everything still looked good in two weeks then I could drop down to testing once a day or so (here is to hoping). Also with those numbers she said it was basically similar to not having Gestational Diabetes at all as far as concerns about the baby being too large and having to think induction or c-section so that is all good news since I'd really like to avoid both. I actually was measuring a little small but she seemed confident that it was just he is in a weird position since it you measured a little off center I was right on.
Also I went to L & D this weekend since I was feeling like period like cramps and back pain and had a tiny spot of blood. Everything looked good with baby, no active contractions and my cervix is locked down so it made me feel better. I knew I probably just needed more hydration and rest but I wasn't going to take any chances of missing signs of preterm labor this time.

Here is my update .....doc. is not worried about bp it's was low like that before. I am 28 weeks and measuring 29 weeks. I go back in two weeks for a sonogram to double check everything. Alex's heart rate was 155 to 160 he decided it was time to play. Time to go to work.
Just got back from my weekly ultrasound and 2 week doctor appointment. Everything still looks great for the both of us. She even flipped back head down from last week. We got some cute shots of her. Here are a few: (I love the one of her sticking her tongue out)

Had my appointment this morning. All was well. She had less commentary on me and more on the psycho patients she was stuck with over the weekend so I got some good laughs.
I had a regular appointment this morning. Baby is breech, but doctor isn't concerned because she has time to flip around. I have my diabetes educator appointment tomorrow and another OB appointment in two weeks to do an ultrasound for the off-center umbilical cord.
Had my 3 hour GTT today. But I threw up during the first hour. I haven't thrown up in months, so that was awesome. So now I have to go back Friday for another try. Blech.
OB appt today. She is concerned about my BP. I am right on the border of what is considered high. She wants me to monitor it this week and rerun blood and sugar tests next week. I am not showing any other preeclampsia signs so I'm hoping the bp is just attributed to work. It's too bad this is the busiest month of the school year and I have a ton of paperwork! I'm trying to keep calm!
Had a 32 week ultrasound today to check the distance of my placenta to my cervix because it was too close at my 20 week scan. But, thank goodness, as my uterus stretched, my placenta moved up so I'm safe from a scheduled c-section! Woohoo! Also, everything else with baby looked good. He's head down, which means I've been rubbing and talking to his BUTT for the past couple weeks. Best part was the tech got us a couple 3D pics which we didn't expect. He definitely has daddy's flat bridge nose. him.
Re: Monday Appointments
Good luck to everyone else.
