family shoes picture

Hey ladies. I saw a picture of a family's feet (starting with the dad's feet, then mom, kiddos and then baby shoes) for a pregnancy announcement. I loved it! I was thinking of doing this with my hubby and our 3 boys and putting the pic inside mother's day cards for my mom and mil. The boys always make them handmade cards and paint them birdhouses.... I thought this might be fun. Or maybe putting the picture inside the birdhouse and having the boys tell them to look inside the house. What do you think... good idea or cheesy? We want to do something different since this is #4.

    I did this for my last pregnancy :) It was super cute and fun! I think the idea is putting that picture in the hand made cards is cute! Go for it!

    Cute cute cute!!! I wish I could figure how to upload pics and a ticker. I tried to upload the sample pic I found as an example but couldn't. I have tried several times to get a ticker to work and I finally just gave up!!!!

    Wow. I wanna go to the beach. We were snowed in most of the winter... now we are flooded in from all the rain. I want some warm sunshine and sand between my toes!!! Hope you have a great trip! :)

    @Maelara I love how dads boots are all muddy   :)    Thats awesome!

     

    I would really like to order a pair of baby dr martens so I can line up DH's, mine and the baby ones to take a pic.    They are like  $65....but sooo freaking cute!    I should include stepdaughter as well,  but she is growing like a bad weed and doesn't currently fit any of the docs we bought her, so that would be another $100 to get her a pair.   lol.....I could just lay down one of my several pair and put her year by them.  She is 13 and wears a size BIGGER than I do!    ha ha......

    I'm a huge fan of this idea! We did it with our first pregnancy that unfortunately resulted in a loss just shortly after posting this picture publicly. I love the flip flop on the beach idea since we live in San Diego it would be appropriate :)

    What about putting an ultrasound pic inside the birdhouse since the house seems to have special meaning already.

    Thanks for all the input amd suggestions! :) when we do the picture I will try to post it... if I can figure out how! I have tried to post other pics and a ticker several times and apparently I'm dumb, because all attempts have been unsuccessful.

    So sorry for your loss. I completely understand. We've lost 4 and it is a heartbreak unlike no other! The pic was super cute though. You should always keep it.

    I'm sorry to hear that :( my heart goes out to you as We have lost 4 also.: (now 10w2d with our 5th pregnancy -- no living children on earth) but this is the furthest we've ever gotten and as a matter of fact just heard the heartbeat for the first time on my home dopler (altho we've had 4 sonos already so far this time around and going in for #5 tomorrow) -- I pray these are our rainbow babies!!!
