breastfeeding and losing weight

hey...never really post but i have a question...
I've been doing focus t25 for exercise and drink my nutriblasts every morning but i wanted to do a little something more...i'm currently breastfeeding my 3rd child (he's 3 months old) and this time around i'm just not losing the weight as fast as I did with my other two...i've been looking into IdealShape meal replacement shakes, and before anyone says it i know we need extra calories while nursing, but i was just thinking that these might help speed the weight loss a little.  i can't seem to find anything in the ingredients that would be harmful to my son, and the company said they have quite a few pregnant and breastfeeding moms on the shakes.  Have any of you ladies ever had any of these shakes (ideal shape or another brand) while nursing?  What are you opinions, even if you've never had them?  TIA!

Re: breastfeeding and losing weight

  • I prefer eating as much whole, fresh foods as possible. Focus on lean protein, whole grains, and plenty fresh fruits and veggies. Maintain moderate exercise.

That should help you be healthier regardless of the scale.
