Stomach cramping...tmi

in 3rd Trimester
Since last night I have had stomach cramping accompanied with some diarrhea. My paper from the doctor says to call with cramping with or without diarrhea but I didn't know if that was for menstrual type cramping or the cramping like I'm having. I'm also super paranoid about listeria and of course my brain automatically jumps to this possibility. Anything I've eaten would be a bit of a stretch but I guess not impossible to have had it. Anyway long story short just looking for some advice! Thanks in advance

    Call and ask. They will ask all the right questions to figure out what's going on and set you off with the right advice.

    You lose nothing by calling.

    When you stay stomach, do you mean your actual stomach or do you just mean your belly? If it's an actual stomach cramp + diarrhea, it could be a stomach bug/indigestion/food poisoning. The odds of listeria are pretty slim.

    That said, you're always better safe than sorry. Call and make sure things are ok. Even with a stomach bug, you could end up dehydrated from the diarrhea.

    I called and try told me is was most likely a stomach bug. She told me to take some Imodium an do the BRAT diet till tomorrow and if I don't feel better to let them know. So far I'm improving though so I think everything is good. Thanks everyone!
