At almost 33 weeks my family an some strangers have told me i just look fat, obese gross etc. they make jokes an constantly make fun of the fact that i can't get by tiny spaces anymore,I don't understand why they feel the need to do this. My Doctor says I'm right on track an all the weight is in my abdomen area (where the baby is) so i'm a little confused. I've even started to think their right an i don't even see myself as pregnant anymore but just HUGE an OBESE, Anyone know good coping skills?
Re: Anyone Else Getting Told This? An Is there a way to make it better?
Also, welcome to the bump.
Second, the stock you put in other, unqualified, individual's opinions is your own doing. Grow a spine, and either tell them to fuck off, or let it roll off like water on a duck. Why on Earth you would accept the lousy opinion, of what sounds to be some very miserable human beings, over your medically licensed, professional doctor, is beyond me. If this is a common issue for you, even outside of pregnancy, I suggest finding a new family, and a therapist ASAP.
