Can I have a normal pregnancy? UPDATE

To be honest I don't know what a normal pregnancy would look like?!? Well over the weekend I had some light pink spotting in my cm. It was after dh and I had bd the night before and during trying to go #2. Luckly I spotted then stopped immediately. So I have been trying to convince myself that it was caused by one of those two things. I put a call in to my re to see what to do. I hate waiting on calls back from doctors offices bc they seem to take forever to call you back! I have a scheduled appointment for Thursday which I scheduled two week ago. I know baby had a heartbeat and was measuring on track then. I just really hope things are fine.

******Update:
Well finally just gave in and called my obs office instead of waiting to hear back from re. Which I still haven't got a call back from re office and I called at 8:30 this morning, it's 2:30 almost here. Well my obs office said its nothing to be concerned about and concluded the same thing I was thinking it was. So told DH for my sanity that we will not be having fun for awhile until after 12 weeks (only 3 weeks away). He wasn't too thrilled about this. I really think he thought it was going to be open shop 24/7! Lol I feel bad for him by need to do this for myself to know I am doing everything I can to get this baby here safely. So looks like I will be waiting until Thursdays appointment.

(((hugs))) I'm sorry you're spotting. I wish once everyone graduated we could just have a normal pregnancy!! Unfortunately it doesn't work that way…

I'm glad you got a call back from your OB, and I agree, I hate waiting on calls back from the dr! I hope your appointment on Thursday goes well and everything is progressing perfectly in there! (((hugs)))

Haha, same! I had spotting in week 6 that lasted nearly a week, and was told by the physician assistant that I should be on pelvic bedrest for two weeks after my final day of spotting. Well, I should've been in the clear to going back to doing you-know-what in week 9, but I'm abstaining until I'm past 12 weeks. I'm too freaked out and probably being overly careful, but oh well! It's worth it for peace of mind, imo. So far DH hasn't complained so I think he's being as understanding as possible and just dealing with it.
