When did it start to get really dark? How many DPO, and how many days after your first positive?

I'm a first timer and feeling paranoid that my tests aren't getting much darker. I'm 14 DPO, with my first positive at 11DPO and a digital positive at 12 DPO. Today's wondfo still seemed so light, even with FMU....I'm just terrified that this will be an early loss.

My wondfos stayed really light, and at 14 DPO my FRER was a smidge darker than the control line. HTH!

I got my BFP with a pretty convincing line at 9DPO. At 16DPO the line was darker than the control.

Wondfo sucks at progression and being dark. My beta was 205 at 16 dpo and the line was not dark as the control, by a lot.

I took a break a week ago after poas 2x a day because I was getting REALLY frustrated with the faint line & i was making myself a lil nuts. But this morning I poas & right away it went super dark! Makes me happy

Thanks, ladies. I feel a little better! I had blood drawn Friday to check my progesterone, so hopefully the OB will have something reassuring to say tomorrow.

4 days isn't actually a lot of time for it to get darker, especially if it started out really light. put the pee sticks away for 2 or 3 days and then test again.

I'm so glad you posted this today! I got my first + wondo at 11dpo. Confirmed with a frer 12dpo that was definitely positive, but not darker than the control line. I've been using a wondfos every morning since. They're definitely still positive, but not darker than the control and today's and yesterday's is the same shade. It's been driving me crazy!

With my last pg (I had a m/c) the tests started getting lighter and lighter. It made me a nervous wreck. So, I feel your worry! I almost wish I didn't have any tests so that I was forced to get the crazy under control! lol

My wondfos took forever to get dark and my frers were always dark. Eff those wondfos. They're mind-fucks.

I have read (and I have read a lot about pee sticks) that wondfos are not the best for showing progression. I wouldn't worry too much or switch brands. Maybe try dollar store or first signal if you want to see a better progression. The best thing to do today is try to worry and celebrate your pregnancy. Good luck.

just wanted to post an update! thanks to all the ladies who replied, i'm so grateful. my OB called back today with my labs from friday (12 dpo)- progesterone was 14.4 and hcg was 141. i feel like i can rest a bit easier, and care less about pee sticks, after that. thanks so much for the support!

Don't worry about the darkness of the line. As long as there are two lines, that's what matters. Different tests, even the same brand, can have a different amount of dye and so the line may be darker/lighter.
