Hope you are hanging in there and can't wait to hear your birth story! MJC1116, hope work is getting better and you aren't as stressed out as last week - just think, in a few more weeks you will be holding a squishy baby! CMDR513, good to see your update! 2. Next OB appt is next week but I am at my primary care doctor's office right now. Have had a low grade fever all weekend and started having a sore throat yesterday. Hope it is not strep!
3. Feeling fine other than the virus.
4. I didn't get (and didn't want) a push present last time but I do want one this time! Nothing extravagant but a nice ring or necklace would be appreciated! No babymoon this time but we are going to Florida this summer to visit my sister. She lives in Navarre Beach and we are going to rent a condo on the beach!

2. Any medical updates? Nope. My appointment last week went fine. I back in the patient area for literally about 3 minutes. I've gained about 4 pounds already, so I'm being a super over-achiever in the weight gain department during the first trimester again this time. I blew that 0-5 pound 1st trimester weight gain target out of the water with DS, and am learning that apparently that's just how my body likes to do things!
3. How are you feeling lately? Good. I'm thinking about busting out the pregnancy pillow though because I'm feeling aches in my hips already. I'm not sure I'm ready to hear DH bitch about how much room it takes up though. That's a whole lot of whining to listen to by the time October rolls around.
4. QOTW: are you getting or do you want a push present? Also, are you going to do anything special with DH/SO or as a family before LO arrives (ie family trip, babymoon, special outing etc)? Nah, I'm getting a baby. That's enough for me. I guess I do have an Oragami Owl locket that I'll want to add a birthstone to but those birthstones are probably like $10 or something. No talks of a babymoon but DH, DS, and I might do a weekend getaway close to home like we did last year for a summer vacation. Not sure what we would do though.

2. Any medical updates? None, I had my group b test last Thursday so we'll see how that comes back. My next appointment is Wednesday.
3. How are you feeling lately? I'm feeling alright! Getting a second wind... most likely stemming from knowing that this is my last full week of work and I'm only working until lunch. Next week I'll come in a couple of times for a few hours (I teach 2nd grade at a Catholic school, so I'll be running First Holy Communion practices). I'm excited to spend some time with DD, just the two of us, and finishing up some things around the house (see other: Mountain of Laundry)

2IF issues
I'm 12w4d!!
No updates, next appt is April 21st.
I'm starting to not feel quite as nauseated all the time, DH is convinced it's a boy because I was never this sick with DD. I'm convinced it's the progesterone and can hardly wait to stop it in a week!
We don't have anything special planned yet, but I like the idea of it. I didn't get a push present with DD, so I doubt I will get one with this baby. I had never even heard of push presents until TB, it's just not that common in my region.
After the 4 days of a stomach virus and fever, more spotting, and just overall anxiety rising, I called today and they bumped my u/s up to tomorrow afternoon. We leave for vacation with my in laws Friday, so I'm glad for a few extra days at home to process before being bombarded with "how are you feeling" questions. I think I'm super guarding my emotions, so I don't really feel positive or negative. I just want to fast forward through the whole thing and know there is a heartbeat.
I've honestly never heard of a push present before! Seems like a great excuse for something though
@jeffreysmom24 my EDD as of now is 11/26 if you'd like to update it! Thanks!
I hope you guys that have been sick are feeling better soon. @Jen071407, I hope your ultrasound goes great tomorrow and sets your mind at ease. Let us know, if you get a chance before you head out of town.
37 weeks, and 12 days until D-Day. Holy crap. I'm feeling pretty good other than the aches and pains while trying to sleep, and being super tired at times. I am nesting hugely right now and it's amazing how much stuff I have gotten done despite having no energy. I wish I was this productive all the time. At my 37 week appt on Friday, the NP checked and I'm 2cm dilated and 60% effaced. Baby's head is down, fluid was good, and the NST went well. I did test positive for Group B strep, so they will have me on IV antibiotics right away once we check in at the hospital, which I didn't have to worry about with DS. @MJC1116, I hope yours ends up being negative.
QOTW: I had also never heard of this and had to google it. DH hasn't mentioned anything about a gift, and I doubt he has gotten one. Although, sometimes, he is really sweet with stuff like this and may surprise me with something small. I will be happy just having a healthy baby, though. We did not take any trips, and now we are out of time. We just spent too much money having our basement finished, so now we are having to be frugal for a while!
Me: 42. DH: 46.
1st Pregnancy: MC, 11/19/00.
2nd Pregnancy: DS born 04/10/06.
3rd Pregnancy: CP, 03/11.
4th Pregnancy: MMC, D&C 11/30/11, Genetic testing revealed Trisomy 4.
5th Pregnancy: Ectopic, 2 doses of Methotrexate unsuccessful, surgery 4/10/12, right tube removed.
Tried Letrozole January 2013-July 2013 (including 2 IUIs), all BFN. After 2 1/2 years of trying for child #2, decided to "give up" after July cycle, based on AMA.
August 16, 2013: BFP our first month of "not trying!" Still in shock. Beta #1 (14dpo): 183. Beta #2 (17dpo): 611. Ultrasound 8/30/13: baby measured 6 weeks, 1 day, heart rate of 118 bpm!
Ultrasound 9/13/13: 8 weeks, heart rate of 176!
Baby is due 4/26/14
2. My fetal echo went fine, I guess. The doctor said she may have seen a small leak in a valve, but she said that 99 out of 100 kids have it & it may correct itself.

4. We went on a baby moon last time. This time maybe we'll do a family get away. Last MH got me a necklace. Like @tryingyetagain we are finishing our basement & renovating our kitchen, so I'm not expecting anything.
I'm 24 weeks and feeling good besides my sore back side from the weekly progesterone injections. I have a few lumps/bruises now that hurt. I had my regular appointment last week (short visit) and baby sounded great. I was informed my next visit at 28 weeks would be a long one because I have to have a repeat ultrasound to check the placenta previa and I have to redo my glucose test
I was pretty bummed to say the least because I thought since I passed the early one I was good... Nope! If I end up having to do two 1-hour tests and two 3-hour tests I'm going to scream. They make me so sick afterward. Yuck!
No push presents... At least not expecting one and very unlikely since it wasn't something we did the first time around either. We did take a baby moon the first time around and will be going on a family vacation this time in May (just DH, DD and I). I can't wait!!!

2. Nope, another 2 weeks before my next doctor appointment.
3. Feeling super tired and still getting over a cold from last week that knocked me on my ass for a few days.
4. Nope, not doing anything special. Just enjoying being a family of three and trying to get my daughter to want a new baby
2. We had our anatomy scan last week and baby boy looks perfect! Topped the scales at 1 lb 1 oz. We had an earlier u/s where they told us the sex, but I was anxiously awaiting the a/s to make sure baby looked healthy.
3. I'm feeling pretty well. Although I feel much bigger this time & have already started getting uncomfortable sleeping at night. I don't remember that happening until much later last time!!
4. Not really holding out for a push present. Last time DH had beautiful flowers delivered to the hospital & I was so surprised. That would be nice again I guess! As for a trip, we are going to try to take as many mini-trips this summer as possible as a family of 3
