AWRant/Rave: I had my second shower yesterday and it was beautiful. It was kind of a crazy morning. The venue had a shower scheduled for next weekend as well and those people called to cancel. They got the dates mixed up and canceled mine instead, so when my aunts and cousins arrived to set up, nothing was ready and the original room they wanted was no longer available. I never would have known anything was wrong and it all turned out great. My grandpa was really sweet and hosted a lunch for all the boys in the family at the same venue. He is so excited about this baby and it is adorable. My two childhood BFFs were there and my aunt got us all matching onesies for our LOs! Also, my cousin who is away at college sent us the Woodie onesie because that was his favorite when he was little.
QOTW: Opinion on "push present"? Eh. DH and I aren't big present people. I would really just like a glass of wine and some sushi once we get home.
GTKY: Favorite type of pizza? Deep dish, hand tossed etc? Topping? Regular crust, extra sauce, light cheese, olives, mushrooms and onions.
AW/rants/raves: well I can officially say that this will be my last week at work! NYAAAAAAAA!!!! I have 2 weeks of vacation, then my mat leave starts. I'm basically spending this week training my replacement, so I'll be doing sweet FA as of Thursday because I'll have handed over. Shweeeet. Also, my bathroom reno is complete! I have my house back! I can overlook the back pain, heartburn and inability to lean forward because everything's coming up milhouse!
QOTW: I find the idea of a push present condescending. "We'll done dear, now here's a shiny trinket to play with!". No. The best push present DH can give me is helping me raise his child.
GTKY: papa john's regular cheese pizza with pineapple. Pizza was my no no food until 20 weeks, but I've been more than making up for it since then.

My mom threw us a very nice baby shower yesterday! My Aunt got the cake and it was absolutely adorable and yummy!

Meh- I probably won't get one and that's ok. I think they're only nice if your not asking or demanding one.

AW/Rant/Rave: this is my 4th and I was not expecting nor really thought it was appropriate to have a shower. But, the staff at my building throw you a shower for every baby! Soooo it's a Star Wars themed shower for the little man. I'm super grateful- just still feel weird being the center of attention for my fourth.
QOTW: I am not really a fan, sure if DH got me one Id be fine- but some ppl who ask for then or expect them are a little ridiculous.
GTKY: is it pizza??!! I'll eat it! I love just tomato and jalapeño on my pizza.
AW/Rant/Rave: Nursery is almost done, just need to put the crib together and get some decorations for the wall.

AWRant/Rave: Not a whole lot going on here. Just really irritable lately, and everyone is getting on my last nerve!
QOTW: Opinion on "push present"? I certainly wouldn't turn anything down, but I don't expect anything.
GTKY: Favorite type of pizza? Deep dish, hand tossed etc? Topping? Chicago deep dish w/ pepperoni. But right now just a greasy pan pizza from Pizza Hut with everything on it sounds amazing!
AWRant/Rave I had my Mommy group baby shower yesterday. It was so nice and thoughtful of them. This is my second baby but I didn't have a shower for my first.
QOTW: Opinion on "push present"? I don't think you should demand one. I like that it can be sentimental though. If I were to get a necklace I think it would be nice to pass it on one day to my daughter.

Rant- I have a yeast infection and a cold. As if being 34 weeks preggers wasn't enough!
QOTW - push present - the best one would be if DH gets me all the food and drinks I couldn't eat for the past 9 months!
GTKY - pizza- fave is plain, thin crust
