My mother now thinks my baby is haunted/possessed

LOL I wish I was kidding!!!! I went to Gettysburg tonight with DH and our two best friends. On the way up my mom calls to chat and I tell her where we're going. She was all "Lauren, you should NOT be doing that. You're risking the baby!!!!" I tried to explain to her that she was crazy, but of course her being crazy trumped my logic. So now I am just having fun messing with her. As if a civil war ghost really wants anything whatsoever to do with my unborn child.

However, LO IS extra kicky tonight..

If she thinks there are ghosts in Gettysburg that can possess your baby, is she worried about ghosts everywhere else too? Or does she just not want a Civil War ghost in particular to possess the baby?

We went with a small tour to this haunted mansion that was used as a hospital during the war. Aside from the dying soldiers there was also a young woman who committed suicide in the house. I believe it's called Hoffman House or Hoffman Mansion. So yeah, my mom thought that I shouldn't be seeking ghosts out. She thought something would "come home with me".

Im so jealous! I'm obsessed with ghosts/hauntings! My hubby thinks I'm crazy at times lol.

Maaan I love ghost hunting! I wouldn't do it right now, but that's more out of fear of falling flat on my face when walking around in the dark than actually seeing a ghost.
Did you bring any spooks home with you then?

My mother refused to tell me the details if my grandfather's funeral service when I was pregnant with dd because she said that if I went to a funeral, the spirit of the dead would inhabit my baby.

That might not be a bad thing, if you like the relative! I will love it if I see some of my mom in my daughter.
