I feel your pain. I waited till DH and DS were out of the house and brought the full length mirror and my trimmer into the shower. It was quite the chore!

LOL, I haven't even attempted in over 2 months! I had my 36 week appt on Friday and I forgot they were doing STD swabs (NJ state requirement in 3rd tri). When the nurse brought me into the room and gave me a gown I had a mini panic attack! I know they're not judging and I'm sure they've seen worse, but I was mortified! I might need to enlist DH's help before they start checking my cervix at each appointment.

I haven't been able to see that in weeks nor can I be bothered to shave my own legs, it's just too hard. DH to the rescue! He even painted my toes last night and did a damn good job.

You can turn down the cervical checks so that'll let you put it off a little longer!

Its sad, I lady scape, its probably not pretty but it only gets down on the weekends when I'm not so tired from working because that in itself is a workout.

I just trimmed the hedge yesterday. I used safety scissors haha. I had the GBS swab unexpectedly at an appointment Friday where they were just supposed to draw blood and feel up my liver. Now I feel ready.

Bahaha. I have an appt tomorrow. They are lucky I plan to shave my legs. I can't see the rest of it, can't be bothered. I told DH that if it bothered him, he knows where the razor is and certainly wouldn't have to tie me down. He said that's cool, he's afraid to cut me by accident.

I have a check tomorrow. I thought about it in the shower today and had a Fat Amy moment: "Sometimes I wonder if I should do Crystal meth, then I think hmmm... better not". Last time I lady scaped it was not pleasant. DH did say he would do it, we'll see if I take him up on it.

Last month I asked my DH to help me down there, his response "they have professionals you pay to take care of that" I told him I didn't have any extra money.. So it's been a bush for a while now. I may try the full length mirror and razor in the shower. And it's been a couple of weeks since I shaved my legs, I should do that soon as well.

Exactly. I thought about shaving my legs yesterday then remembered that I have my GBS swab next week so I figure I'll just wait to do it before that appt so that I don't risk killing myself in the shower more than necessary.

I use DHs electric razor for my legs. As far as my lady parts, yeah that's all done blindly. My hubby is scared to touch me since I started showing because it "weirds him out" so I know I don't have to impress him.

Your doctor will see you poop on the table, so she's probably not worried about a bush during exams.

But DH doesn't. And I don't want to embarrass myself to the anesthesiologist like I did before, therefore I got a wax at 32 weeks. Totally worth the additional pain (I never remember it hurting before).

I have DH do my lady bits, I can still do my legs pretty easily and I got a pedicure this weekend. I don't care what the doctor sees it is more for me as I developed a very wet area down there during this pregnancy and hairless plus panty liner helps me feel fresh .

I told DH last week I'm done. Around 36w I'll waddle my fat ass into the salon & get a mani/pedi for me, wax everything & call it a day. I didn't last time despite saying I would. After I got home from having DD I found hair that was longer than on my head... Wtf?!

The place I go tells you to come in once every 4-6 weeks. I'm solidly in the 4 weeks category as my hair grows super fast and it's been extra fast during pregnancy. Bit of advice make sure you exfoliate before. I just use St Ive's Apricot Scrub to GENTLY clean the area making sure I don't get any where it doesn't belong. And then do it everyday afterward, also using a product like tend skin or another ingrown hair prevention product is a must, for me a cotton swab soaked in hydrogen peroxide after I exfoliate and shower works just fine. I used to get terrible ingrown hairs and ever since I started this routine I stay smooth. Also make sure you go to a reputable place with pregnancy you're much more susceptible to infection if anything doesn't seem right, walk out.
