Headache and cramps? Anyone?

30 weeks experiencing really bad cramps, headache and a lot of gas... That's common?

  • I would call your doctor. It could be signs of Pre eclampsia or it could be nothing. But nobody on this site is a doctor. Call and be safe.

    Um, pre-e has a lot of other symptoms. It's rarely just a head ache. OP, if you're concerned, talk to your doctor. But all of your symptoms sound pretty typical for 3rd tri. 





    I'm not new. I just hate The Bump. 

  • I wouldn't say really bad cramps are typical! If you've tried drinking a lot water, laying down, and having a warm bath/shower and the cramps still persist, call your doctor.

    True. I missed the really bad part.

  • It's not unusual (so don't panic) but call your doctor just to be sure. It's probably nothing but it won't hurt to check.

    Actually, one of the really dangerous things about preeclampsia is that it mimics typical pregnancy symptoms.  Some people don't experience many symptoms at all.

    Right, but what OP is describing could be a million things. I just wouldn't jump to pre-e.
