Last night I started bleeding with sharp pains and this morning we found out I miscarried at 5 weeks :-( Our little one is now in heaven with the angels.
Thank you all. Its been 4 days of bleeding, nausea and headaches but its getting better. Trying to drink lots of fluid, eat fruits and veggies. My last beta HCG level was only 7 and my doc wants to repeat another one tomorrow. Does any one know how long does a natural MC last? And when is it safe to start trying again?
I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you can find some comfort here. Your angel is now with all of our angel babies.
Natural miscarriages are different for everyone and can be quite lengthy. Some people need a D&C to get rid of any remaining tissue. Some people it is more like a regular period and is over quickly with minimal pain. Its important to keep in close contact with your doctor to determine when the miscarriage is actually over, when your horemones are back to normal and it is safe to TTC again. Some doctors advise after 1 normal cycle. Others say 3 months. It really depends on your body, your situation and your doctor.
Thank You. Maxsmommy123112 your response was very helpful; thank you. Im only spotting old dark brown blood now, sorry if its TMI. My HCG level is now 3 and the doc told me to wait one cycle before TTC again.
For the most part I feel fine but I have moments of extreme sadness and fatigue...yoga and daily green smoothies has really helped with the emotional healing and energy.
If you are recovering from miscarriage and still healing, I pray that you find peace and healing soon.
