Endometrin question (warning)

Warning: PG My RE changed me from PIO to Endometrin. I nurse gave me a sample a few weeks ago when I had an allergic reaction to the oil and we changed to sesame oil. I picked up my prescription (last shot was last night). The pharmacy gave me progesterone capsules, not Endometrin with an applicator. They said it is the same active ingredient. I didn't think they were supposed to substitute medications without the doctor's approval. I am wanting to be sure that I have the correct medicine. I called the pharmacy and emailed the nurse at the RE office. Of course I will not know until tomorrow. I am using the Endometrin the nurse gave me today because I know that is ok. Has anyone else been given peach colored capsules to insert instead of Endometrin? Thanks

    Hey sweetie-- don't ask a pg question on this board.. Too hurtful.. If you can't delete put a warning I. Title.. It sounds like they gave you prometrium. They were peach colored when I had them. They are fine to use but I don't think they are as effective as endometrin or crinone. You might need to get endometrin from a specialty pharmacy.

    First u/s= Twins with HBs at 6w2d! We are Team Pink x 2!!

    I am so sorry. I should have known better. How do I edit or delete this. There is no way after all we have been through that I want to offend or cause hurt feelings to anyone.
