Help me pick a hair color??

So I had a hair appointment last week but I chickened out and moved it to next week. I'm having a big ole crisis over what color I should dye my hair. Help?? Below are pics of me with dark hair and light hair. Which looks better? I also provided duck face shots, both for ease of comparison purposes and entertainment purposes. Thoughts??

I'm going against the grain here. I think the darker hair looks better with your skin tone. The lighter hair seem to wash you out a bit since it's only a shade or so darker than your skin tone.

Light, but only a slight advantage over dark. Both look great! Bon the light hair pic you look like Jessica alba! Hot!

Both are very pretty but I like the light better! Plus it's easier to go from light back to dark if you changed your mind down the road. Maybe some lowlights to balance out the similarity to your skin tone, as someone else mentioned?

Thanks everyone! I think I'm leaning towards lighter overall, based on the responses. I like the lowlight suggestion. I'll post a picture once I have my appointment. Thanks for your sweet words as well. I'm 10 wks post partum with a bub who doesn't sleep, so the compliments are much appreciated.

Ok, update with the color! I actually decided to go on the darker side since I'm not rocking my summer tan yet, and I was a bit worried about maintenance. It came out a tad darker than I would have preferred, but overall I'm happy with it.
