Hi MoM's!! I thought starting one long thread (like the NB questions one) would be easier for us to all respond to and ask questions in vs a weekly check-in...as most of us probably can not remember what day it it.
What's up with your twinsies???
Do you dress your twins alike? I'm pretty obsessed with doing this right now and I wonder at what point it will get old and i'll want to stop. If someone buys us 2 outfits and they don't match I usually return one and get the match to the other...I may need an intervention.
Re: the twin thread
I don't dress mine alike, they're identical, so, that seems like it would be extra tricky to tell who's who lol
Great idea!!!

we dress the boys alike most times. If not alike same outfit different colors.

The plan was to take off at least 4 weeks but I started back up after 2 weeks pp. My mom and dad had fine back home and I needed adult interaction. She has a nursery in her house and the babies go with me. We BF while she does her cardio then she does her weights.
No baby wearing here ... Yet!
They're doing great, but Rhys has a bit of a cold which is the saddest thing ever. Pitiful baby coughing :-(
I don't dress them in the same outfits, but often similar (pink whale onesie on A, blue on R).
I will be going back to work, but until February when they're just over 1. Yay Canadian mat leave!!
Thanks for starting this thread @YankeePeach08!

Is there any other way to wear both babies other than the moby? Brianna wants to be held, and Alaina has been spitting up. I'd love to be able to wear them around the house to get stuff done.
I have to go back to work now that we have 6 kids! I am allowed 12 weeks, but only the first 8 will be partially paid. Depending on how we are doing I may have to go back sooner. It makes me sad every day to think I will have to leave my babies. I am a sonographer, and work an hour away. I'm least looking forward to having to be away from my babies overnight while I'm on call. My husband is great, but I don't know how he will handle doing everything for them. In our 3 weeks DH hasn't attempted to feed both babies at the same time...
I haven't really found a lot of matching boy/girl outfits and we only have a couple of matching neutral ones so they only match sometimes.
When we moved a year ago I started SAH w/DS1 so I will continue to do that.
I just bought a moby in hopes of wearing them together. I was finally able to get a good wrap with one baby. Hopefully I can practice a little this weekend. I have also seen videos of people using two ssc, like ergos, for twins (one on front, one back) but mine are still way too small for that. We already have an ergo from DS1 and a friend offered to sell me their Boba air, so I will try it at some point. DH will use a carrier so it's worth the purchase either way.
How are you guys doing getting out with the twins? I can't handle staying home all the time so I've been taking all three kids out on my own. Most of the time I do ok but it's an adventure when both twins want to eat at the same time (we're nursing) or DS1 has to go to the bathroom while I'm nursing (he's potty training).
I've been using it and like that both boys fit better (used the hoppy when they were smaller) but it is uncomfortable on my back.
I sit with my legs straight out in front and the lumbar support pillow is small but makes it so I can't put a regular pillow behind me.
Also, there is a gap between my stomach ad the front of the pillow, if one boy falls asleep his head falls in te hole
Any tips for using it?
Typically it is at least 2.5-3.5
I think each twin would randomly do a 4-5 hour stretch but we do 1 up both up so we don't really know.
We commonly get about 3.5 hour slots as they go about 4 hours between feedings. (they're 3 months)

I always meant to try and get freebies with my twins but i never followed through on it :P
After 2 years, Injects, PCOS diagnosis and 2 IUI's, we were blessed with our beautiful twin girls!
Baby Girl #3!
I've been using it and I do like it but I have a couple of the same issues. Here's what I do. I sit on the couch with my feet on the floor. I put one throw pillow on each side of me under the edges of the pillow to give it extra support. I take the velcro piece off the back and put another throw pillow behind me. I sometimes put the Velcro piece in/over the gap in front. I use fluffy blankets to stuff under their heads to bring them up to boob height and stuff parts of the blanket in the gap. It's a lot of little things to make my nest but it's the most comfortable option for me.
Sleep is all over the place right now. With Owen's latch issues I haven't been doing one up both up as much, but they do wake up at the same time pretty frequently. We usually get one 3-4 hour stretch in the beginning of the night, then they're up every 2 or so. With the supplementing we're doing I'm averaging 3 hours of sleep a night.
we've been feeding at midnight and 5am these days mostly. Then again at 9. I like it so much better. Being up between 2-4 is the worst for me mentally. Weird I know but midnight is still a time I would be awake at. 5am... It's only 30 minutes earlier than my normal pre baby wake up time.
