Hi ladies, long time member here but I've never posted on the WM forum before. Currently I work FT and DD is in a daycare that is on my drive to work. I'm due with DD2 at the end of June and get 6-8 weeks leave.
The daycare we currently use doesn't take babies (12m+), and I don't really love them anyway. And I REALLY don't want to have two locations for drop-off/pick-up. So, we're thinking we'll end up looking for a Nanny for when I go back to work. We did this when DD was an infant as well, it was sooo much cheaper than DC for infants in this area.
My question is, how soon should I start looking? I was planning on using Care.com, just because that's what I used three years ago. Is it usual to start about two months before I need a Nanny? Four months? Any suggestions would be great!

I would say you don't necessarily have to start that soon but I am glad to have it take care of before I have the baby.
