There is a "what to expect" book for the first year, the second year, and toddlers in general. Otherwise I feel like books tend to be more focused at this point. Like if you want a book about sleep, you buy that. If you want one about food/eating, you buy that. Same for topics like temper tantrums/discipline, potty training, etc. Everything is in a single book for infants because there isn't that much to know!
Honestly, I use this site (among a few others) and just talk to other moms I know to get general help and answers. I was given the WTE First Year book when my DD was born and while it was helpful for the first couple months, once your LO starts to develop skills at their own pace, being confronted at the beginning of each chapter with the milestones my child should be hitting was very stressful to me. I would imagine the range would be even greater for the 2nd year, so I wouldn't recommend that book. Like PP said, there are lots of specialized books if you're looking for a niche topic like sleep or potty training.
I've read Happiest Toddler on the Block and it's pretty good. I'm also in the middle of reading Secrets of the Baby Whisperer for Toddlers and I really like it so far.
