Extremely Congested

in December 2013 Moms
My poor LO is extremely congested. He can't eat because he can't breathe through his nose and he has been crying for hours. We're in his room with the humidifer on; it's not helping. We also used the hydrasense snot sucker and that's not working either. 

Any other suggestions?

    Yes, the hydrasense comes with the drops and then the sucker. Neither works. :(

    Try running the shower on hot and closing he bathroom door. Vicks also makes a baby rub, we put it on his feet and it helps a bit. They also make a plugin vaporizer for the room. If he takes a paci the sucking motion might help loosen congestion too.

    Ugh I feel you. Mine has been congested forever. Took her to the ARNP one Sunday and she said it was just a cold. A week or so later she started wheezing and had a low grade temp so I take her back to the same ARNP and she had RSV and an ear infection. Then yesterday I take her back with a fever and congestion and she still/again has an ear infection and they swabbed her nose for whooping cough.
    I've done the Vicks baby rub, the humidifier and saline drops. And it's not even cold here in FL.
    I just want my baby to get better!
