Nothing too exciting on my end, nursing nursing and nursing. Tomorrow night however we're headed over to my sisters to hang out and watch the Game of Thrones premiere, can't wait!
Last night I was out with DS DC friends moms, tonight DH & I went out to dinner with friends for DH's birthday, tomorrow DS1 has soccer then his BFF birthday party and the ILs are bringing dinner over for DH's birthday. So very busy weekend.
I'm recovering from my tubal surgery I had yesterday and taking it easy with my boys. I start a diet tomorrow so I've been indulging in junk food as a last hoorah.
DH went snowboarding today & DD spent the night with her cousin last night so LO & I slept in today. Then we got ready & picked DD up for a shopping session. We went to DD soccer game after & now we're just relaxing at home. Tomorrow DD will go with her dad for the day so DH & I plan to take LO on a little dayventure.
We took a 2 hour trip to my parents house for my moms 50th bday. We will go to church in the morning and likely nap the rest of the day tomorrow since LO didn't sleep at all today.
Well MH got into a car accident last night and my car is possibly totaled, so I spent the morning on the phone with the insurance. We are currently at his grandma's watching the Final Four. Tomorrow all of our plans have been scrapped since we have no car.
Besides nursing and pumping...taking walks, laundry, and making lactation cookies.
Lactation cookies - recipe??
I got this recipe from the LC at the pediatrician. I'm trying it tomorrow once my husband goes out to buy the billion ingredients.
2 cups rolled oats 1/2 cup flax meal 1.5 cups unbleached flour 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 cup brown sugar 1 Tbsp baking soda 2 Tbsp cinnamon 1/2 Tbsp nutmeg 1.5 cups chocolate chips 1.5 cups pecans 1 cup raisins 1 Tbsp salt 3/4 cup coconut oil 3 eggs 1 tsp vanilla 1 can pumpkin puree 1/4 cup black strap molasses
Preheat oven to 350. Mix all dry ingredients separately and then combine. Drop a spoonful of dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet and place in oven for 12-14 minutes until mildly firm to the touch.
I got my hair cut today. Luckily my mom came to watch DD and we went to lunch because DH worked today and we got zero sleep last night. I was able to get a nap this afternoon.
Tomorrow we have friends coming over from out of town to meet LO. Hopefully tonight goes better so we can enjoy some time with them.
Today my SIL came over so I could take a long nap. It was nice, but forced naps aren't so great. I didn't sleep as well as I would have liked. Then I went to my dad's for dinner and visited with a bunch of my aunts and uncles that are in town.
Tomorrow is my brother's wedding. I'm a little nervous about taking LO to such a big gathering, but we've got plenty of bottles packed and some gripe water, so hopefully it will go smoothly.

My FIL and his twin sister are here visiting for a week...shoot me now! I love them, but I forsee a lot of nursing sessions in my room with baby girl this week. Small doses are best and I have a freakin week to get through!
