Emergency Kits

This was mentioned by a few people in the GTKY post about what we keep in our cars, but I'm wondering how many people have an emergency kit -- whether in your house or your car?

Having one in my house is something I'd like to do, but the closest I've come so far is getting one of those emergency hand crank radios and making sure we have working flashlights.

    I should, but don't.  When we lived in CA we did, and we still have the emergency supplies bit.  But I'm sure everything is expired, and not everything is in the same place.

    I sort of have one for LO, but not a full blown kit. I have a small plastic storage box with a spare change of clothes, formula, a glass water bottle full, wipes, and diapers.

    We keep a case if water, flashlights, a crank radio, Beefaroni, and some blankets in a case downstairs. We never let our cars go below half a tank of gas and have a set spot to meet if anything happens. I keep water, snacks, blankets, and clothes in the car.
