What's good this weekend?

We are trying to get all our errands done today so tomorrow we can relax a little. Tomorrow I have an adults only bridal shower and I'm excited for a little me time.

This might seem really small but... DH brewed the best pot of coffee this morning. I've been having a rough relationship with coffee since I got my BFP, and it's just so wonderful to actually enjoy a cup again.

We are going to the big dog park with a lake to see if our dog will swim, I am pretty excited. She has only swam once but it was a glacier fed lake in Alaska and she hated it. She is a golden doodle husky and and golden doodle in her should like to swim but the husky side might not.

Tonight DH and I are going to our first Rockies baseball game of the season! We couldn't afford to go to opening day here in Denver yesterday so we opted for a Saturday night game, which I think is better anyways. I love baseball games but it is going to be weird not having a beer at the game

Adding that I finally went through the clothes my daycare provider gave us for Charlie (she has two boys, 2.5 and 4.5, and is done having kids)...and we literally don't have to buy any clothes for this child until he's two!! The piles in the picture farthest from us start at 3 months and then it's 6, 9, 12, 18 and 24 month piles! Provided he's a butterball like his sister was, we're all set! It's such a huge relief because with me quitting to stay home with the babies, finances will be tight.

Also, C and I took a bubble bath tonight, so I'm all kinds of relaxed and comfy in my PJs and robe.

Today I had a nice prenatal massage! Then, we found the baby's going home outfit (just a cute footed onesie with a tie imprinted on it). Our weekly/monthly blocks came in! And we bought some infant meds - just want to be prepared! Busy day, so now I'm on the couch catching up on Grey's Anatomy!

My mom, DH and I cleaned out the nursery, built the crib, and put the sheets on! I can't wait to continue decorating the room.

That is awesome! I have two boys but I gave all my clothes away and I'm expecting another boy. Oops.

My SO and I went to baby class today. It was labor education and basic cares before during and after. But it also had the labor coaching stuff too. It was good. Got a tour of where we have baby. It's getting real now.

Had a great day today with my sister! We got our hair and nails done, did some shopping and had dinner. We live so close but never get an entire day to do this stuff, it was awesome. Tomorrow is our baby shower, I can't wait. And I took Monday off of work so I get to extend this weekend a liiiitle longer!

I have tickets for this Easter weekend and just found out I can go with DH to the White House Easter Egg Roll again this year (he Produces a children's show that is invited to perform) and I have no idea was what to do. I don't know if the Box Office will let me plead for an exchange! I don't wanna lose that money or the chance to see it.

I felt the baby have hiccups for the first time and loved it! I have been having that incredible pregnancy hair I always hear about. It's thick, shiny and even when I sleep on it wet I wake up with it looking awesome and full. 9 weeks to enjoy it. DH and I are seeing The Blue Man Group for the first time today too!

DH just facetimed me to say good morning. His Mom was over yesterday. I asked what she thought of the nursery. DH says she LOVES the colour and the furniture I picked. (What?! Usually if I pick something she would have picked something better.) AND she picked up and read the one book I've bought for LO and said it was PERFECT.

I hope that this new side of MIL is here to stay!

Yesterday morning my dad, brother, DH and I went out for breakfast. My dad is a breakfast nut, and my brother lives an hour away so it was nice. Later, they helped move the big furniture out of the craft room, so I can actually start turning it into the nursery. DH and I spent the afternoon marking things off my to do list, and doing some stuff to the nursery. It's getting exciting!

I started a sentence for the very first time with "my son" and instantly burst into tears. Good tears though, it's just such a strange thing still. Can't wait to meet the little booger.

OH! I have another one. Last night while DH and I vegged on the couch, I pressed on my stomach and LO pressed back!!! It was the coolest thing!! It felt like we were really interacting, it was incredible.

DH did that this morning and I was like - holy crap! I don't think either of us have used that word yet! Now if we could just pick out a name for him...

I was able to get a new cell phone yesterday and I can know post with my phone. Plus the speaker works so I can here when someone calls me. The sun is shining today so that's a plus.

The weather was beautiful this weekend, we had our shower and saw so many of our friends, I ate CAKE, AND one of our best friends told us in confidence that they are pregnant- due Nov. 5th- and I am so excited that our bebes will be similarly aged (most of our friends have 5 and 3 year olds, we were the last two holdout couples).
