Overdue!

My due date was yesterday and I'm officially overdue.  I've looked at the websites giving some information about things to do when overdue.  Anyone else overdue, and what are you doing while you wait?

    Yup, I am 4 days overdue & scheduled for induction on April 7 if baby doesn't come sooner. I have tried sex (no O unfortunately), spicy food, nipple stimulation, acupressure points, wine & a bath for relaxing...basically you name it I have given it a shot. Last week I was still only a cm dilated & 60% effaced. I'm looking for a miracle between now & Monday, really don't wanna do the whole induction thing.

    Yep. Was due yesterday. I've tried all sorts of things to get things moving. All they do is give me long, painful and non-progressing contractions. Last night was night three of contractions waking me up every 10-15 minutes. I quit.

    Eta: I was leaking amniotic fluid in Tuesday and the contractions started on their own. I was prepared to be all patient and zen if I went past my due date, but this stop and go, painful, only really at night shit is driving me nuts.

    Due today so since there is no sign of baby yes I'm officially going to be overdue. Since I was 5 days past last time I was prepared for this but the lack of anything happening is kind of worrying me. With my son I had lots of nights of contractions and with this one nada. I'm trying to remind myself each time is dif but I really want my med free water birth and if pitocin has to be involved I'm just not sure I will able to do it.

    I'm due today. I've had some contractions over the last few days but nothing too terribly exciting. I am scheduled to go in tomorrow night to start inducing. Sigh.... Really didn't want to get to that point but alas... High blood pressure. I'm trying to relax and sleep as much as possible today so that I feel well rested tomorrow :)

    Deal with it. EDDs are not an exact promise.

    Eta: mine was officially yesterday- never changed my ticker and keep telling people the 8th so I have slightly fewer obnoxious questions.

    Maybe it helps to remember that your due date is just the date you have a 50/50 chance of delivering by. As many women go over as earlier.

    I'm def fine with it since I'm feeling fine, my main issue with going overdue esp with GD is dealing with my dr pushing to induce around 41 wks.

    Not that it makes it suck any less, but they say 42 weeks is "overdue" soooo that'd stink.

    With my son I was 10 days overdue. There is really nothing you can do but wait. Just keep telling yourself you only have a few more days to go! There is no way that baby can stay in for much longer!

    I'm due the 9th and as of Wednesday I was only 2 cm still. Doctor said if no baby by Wednesday I'm getting induced Thursday morning!

    Due tomorrow!  I highly doubt she will be making an appearance then.  I have done nothing to make things happen.  Probably making things even more comfy for her....just woke from a luxurious 3 hour nap. :) 

    Good luck everyone...I am sure the anticipation is killing many of us!

    I was due Thursday... LO was properly positioned and I had begun having contractions and all kinds of other fabulous signs of impending labor... and then two days before the due date, he decided to flip into a breech position. All signs of labor came to a halt. And it was discovered that my fluid levels are too low. So now I am scheduled for a c-section on Tuesday, five days after my due date. I have never felt so frustrated in my life! All I can do is re-clean and re-pack everything, and try talking LO into flipping around and coming out peacefully lol

    What? Bad baby :( hopefully he flips back but good luck either way!

    My mother had me and my three siblings after 42 weeks... So I'm not holding out hope for an early or due date delivery.

    Try to remember though. There's early term, term and late term... The edd is just in the middle of when little one should show up...like other PP's have mentioned. I wouldn't really consider myself late/overdue until I hit 42 weeks.

    Sucks waiting though.

    Every time i want the baby to come and i take a walk to get things moving and get some contractions, they are painful enough for me to think that maybe i am not ready to go into labor just yet! ;)

    This! Lol I start to feel really strong contractions and I stop. The pain scares me. I know it will be worst when its go time but I rather it be something I can't control than me bringing it on, as crazy as that sounds.

    Ugh I really thought maybe today would be the day. Had lots of contractions yesterday that stopped and then did not continue through the night. Here we are back to square one again. At least the weather is supposed to finally be nice. Maybe that will coax baby out :)

    I was due this past Thursday, with a scheduled induction next Thursday if she decides not to come before then. I've had 2 false alarms. I'm ready.... oh so ready.
