I'm having a pity party: party of one today. I'm frustrated with my body.

Cycle/Month: 2/2

CD: 20 or 1, I'll know by the end of the day

What you're doing to get KU: PNV, Temps, HIO, OPK, drinking a ton of water, completely cut caffeine from my diet, eating much better, CM, and CP (I'm not putting my CP into FF this cycle, I'm still trying to make sure I understand it before I chart it)

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: I'm just a downer today. I have had negative OPKs this whole cycle and today I thought I might have a chance at a temp spike. I didn't. It stayed low again. So I took an OPK (didn't technically use FMU, I waited to test until I was done getting ready for the day) and when I wiped it was tinged pink. Which means AF is probably going to rear her ugly face today. I should have seen it coming, my face started breaking out a little, I was cramping, and my temps never came back up but I was holding out hope that I would O this cycle. I realize I'm being a little melodramatic since this is only my second cycle charting but I was hoping that last cycle was a fluke and this cycle I would O. All I can do is just keep trying I guess and try not to be too hard on myself.

GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the US where would you choose and why? I would choose Florida. I grew up in Daytona Beach and the ocean was my life. I love the sand and the fact that the whole state smells like salt and sunscreen. That smell has the same effect that laughing gas does on me, I just completely relax. Unfortunately DH is from Chicago and loves the winter (who in their right mind loves the winter?!!) so we will probably settle for something in between. We've been thinking upper Virginia (near DC, but not too close to incur the high DC COL)

(Sorry for ranting so much today, just a bad week, I'll shake it off)

What you're doing to get KU: Sex, temps, OPK's.

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: Cycle still moving really fast, not sure where the week has gone! I don't mind. Gonna start with OPK's today.

GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the US where would you choose and why? To my place of birth- Hawaii

Lots of my family there, I miss everyone lots.. and I absolutely love living there (minus the cost). I miss the weather and water.

Hopefully AF doesn't show and you still O! A 20 day cycle would be mighty short.. How long was your last cycle? I can't see a chart bc I'm mobile. If it was annovulatory and short as well, you might consider scheduling an appt with your OB to discuss.

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: DH and I had every intention of having sex last night but his stomach was hurting and I was literally falling asleep while we were kissing, so no go. Guess we're doing EOD this cycle!

GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the US where would you choose and why?
California because when we visited, we loved it!! All of our family is on the East coast though.. I would love to live there even for a little while.

What you're doing to get KU: Trying to temp, but I keep forgetting. Alarm goes off, I dismiss it, and don't temp. WTF?! HIO, CM, prenatal, met 2000mg/day.

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: I don't have a chart to stalk because I am an idiot.

GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the US where would you choose and why? 3 miles southwest of where I live now. That is it.

What you're doing to get KU: OPK's starting CD 8, at least EOD sex, taking FertileCM, cut out caffeine and limiting alcohol.

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: I got nothin'.

GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the US where would you choose and why? Honestly... western NY (where I already live). It's close enough to family without being too close, and I love the seasons, the people, and the sports. I always say I could totally live here forever.

What you're doing to get KU: Everything but having sex right now. I've been stomach bug sick the past few days. Hopefully starting EOD tonight.

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: I'm glad I'm not even getting a high on my CBEFM yet since I O'd on CD12 last month. Apparently my body is letting me get a tiny bit healthier before I O so we can actually have sex.

GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the US where would you choose and why? Baltimore. I love the area, it's a nice distance from a lot of things that I also love. I'm done living in the northeast corner of the US.

@DaBearsFansWifeSorry for the pink showing up, any chance it could be ovulation spotting? Do you ever get that? Either way, sorry this cycle has been stressful.

@MusicFanaticThat is so cool that you were born in Hawaii! DH was born in the "pink hospital" as he calls it, and lived in Hawaii for a few years, but his mom was in the military so they moved all over the place after that.

@gizmo36 Hope your stomach bug goes away soon so you get busy

Cycle/Month: 8/10 (5 AL)

CD: 6

What you're doing to get KU: Still just temping and PNV. I usually start OPKs around CD9 or 10.

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: I think AF is just about done, so I'm thankful for that. That's about it.

GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the US where would you choose and why? I've always wanted to live in the Pacific Northwest, or Southern California (if money were no object), but honestly I don't think I'd actually move if the opportunity presented itself because my entire family and most of DH's family lives within an hour of where we live now (in the Midwest), and we really want DD to grow up around family.

Actually, that's just my excuse. I'm really just a wimp and struggle with change. I live in the same town I grew up in, and it's comfortable. I don't make new friends easily, so the idea of moving to a new place is scary for me. Ugh, I need to be more adventurous.

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: Super excited to get a positive opk yesterday after 2 days of super close almost positives. Hoping to see a temp rise soon and it wasn't a fluke

GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the US where would you choose and why? I love Michigan, except this recent winter was hell. I would like to move to a different city though, within 20 minutes of where I'm currently at. I'd miss my family too much if I moved too far away.

Yeah, I've only charted two cycles and they were both ridiculously short with no ovulation. My cycles were short before charting but I had no way to know if I was ovulating or not.

I thought the same thing, I guess it's slightly possible but I always wake up with my mouth shut. I know it could have been open at some point but even then my temp spikes never reached o range (except the one day I was hungover)

either ends of the spectrum suck, too short or too long! If it continues for more than just a few cycles I'd get it checked out. Not ovulating at all would definitely be reason to see the dr sooner than later IMO.

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: nothing. I'm not temping this cycle to see if it lessens my ttc stress level.

@dabearsfanswife My DH also loves Chicago winter. We live in the desert right now and all winter he was like, "I miss snow!" Which is just crazy.

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: I'm going to see Aziz Ansari tonight, so excited! I will also be cheering on Kentucky in the Final Four tonight. My DH is already a nervous wreck over the game.

GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the US where would you choose and why?

The city of Chicago. My absolute favorite place. I lived there for seven years and it is my home. I spent most of my 20s there, I met and married DH there, most of my friends are there. I never thought I would leave, but DH and I had to for job reasons. We live in the middle of the desert right now and it's not the same. I am a city girl for sure. Of course, I don't miss winter, but I truly do miss home. That being said, if I had an infinite amount of money, San Francisco or Los Angeles wouldn't be too bad.

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: I went in for monitoring yesterday morning, and I actually had a follicle growing! It looks like my cycle might not be canceled after all. :-) It's only 12mm right now though, so I guess we're probably not out of the woods yet.

What you're doing to get KU: Temping, opk, preseed, and a whole lotta sex.

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: Welp, I got my first ever squinter of a BFP on Wednesday, then Thursday there was another faint but there BFP (made DH look at it to make sure I wasn't going insane), and then Friday morning it was faint but there again. I checked with two different brands of tests on Friday and they were both positive but very faint. Then late last night I went to the bathroom and sure enough the toilet paper was pink. Woke up this morning and tested again...BFN...and way more blood than what was there last night. I have an appt. on Monday with the RE anyways so I guess they'll check then to make sure everything is moving along on its own okay.

GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the US where would you choose and why? I'd stay where we are now, I really like where we live and wouldn't choose to live anywhere else. It's a great place for families and close enough to a major city that we don't feel out of the loop.

What you're doing to get KU: PNV's and increasing my water intake, waiting for AF to leave for the good stuff

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: Third cycle off birth control and AF is getting a little worse each time. The symptoms leading up to this cycle were more uncomfortable than I'd experienced in a very long time but on the positive side, she should be peacing out today or tomorrow!

GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the US where would you choose and why? Somewhere with seasons! We experience two where I currently live (hot and hotter) and I really miss Fall for the weather and the clothing options. I love boots, scarves and layering and I get about two days a year to do that here.

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: nothing TTC related. Got in a huge fight with SO last night and I work today, so I look and feel hungover but I'm not. We apologized but it's still in that awkward part of the post fight where I'm still replaying things said and getting sad. Plus I have to sex that fool soon because I'm not missing my FW because some fight about nothing :P I'm just sad today

GTKY: If you could lube anywhere in the US where would you choose and why? I live in San Diego and it's pretty much the perfect city

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: I am going to try my hardest to not symptom spot this time around. I ended up obsessing on google and that is just annoying to go through.

GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the US where would you choose and why? Southern Cali for three reasons, 1) the weather 2) In N Out Burger 3) close to Vegas
