Maternity clothes from Walmart

Has anyone purchased maternity wear from Walmart? It's super cheap and with just a couple months left I really don't want to spend big bucks. Can anyone tell me how they fit and if they were comfy?

Re: Maternity clothes from Walmart

  • Thanks! I do plan to order online, site to store, as my local Walmart does not carry any. And for me the nearest maternity store is an hour drive.

  • Spent $100 @ old navy and got 2 dresses, 1 skirt, 4 tanks, 2 shirts, 1 capri. They are fantastic and I think I can wear them post partum too. Bought a few tops from Walmart and outside of two which fit really well, it's like they think your head and neck grew with pregnancy. Also not sure they will be growing with my belly if it gets bigger.
  • I bought some online on clearance. They fit well, are fairly comfy and were cheep enough for me. I think I spent $24 with shipping on two shirts. I do have to return a shirt and skit (the shirt was just an ugly color on me and the skirt I clicked the wrong size) but I can do it either via mail or in any store.

  • I bought 2 pairs of jeans from walmart there comfortable but they streach out really fast so then they stay really baggy/loose whixh really bugs me but ok for the price
  • I didn't even know they had Maternity at Wal Mart. Is it only online?

  • I didn't know Walmart carried it either I may have to check it out! :)
  • In the store, they only had leggings and granny panties in the "maternity" section. Better off checking online.
  • ....I think I'm going shopping now! $-)
  • I haven't looked at Walmart, but I've had decent luck finding maternity stuff at Ross.
  • I found a limited selection at our Walmart - a nice striped sweater for $15 and a couple belly bands at $8 each and I haven't had a problem. Very very limited selection, however.

  • There's a very limited selection at my local Walmart. There are more options online. My sister in law bought the jeans and loves them.

  • The only thing mine has is nursing bras and tank which are amazing I had to order mine off there site.
  • Wow thanks everyone! I just need a pair of shorts and maybe a couple shirts or dresses. I have plenty of jeans and pants but it's starting to get warm here in Texas and they frown on wearing a tshirt and panties to go out in public
  • That just cut off half my post.

Walmart has shorts for $13 and a two pack of leggings (which I may split with a friend) for $19. I think I will place an order tonight! Thanks again ladies :)

I just bough the shorts from the website AND the leggings this afternoon. So inexpensive too. I agree with you about the weather here in Texas. Today was nice, warm, and breezy, so shorts will be amazing.
  • There is NO maternity wear at any store in TX. Believe me, I have looked. They finally got a different buy so their clothing has improved but I've been to my ten closest locations and I am still stuck buying plus-size. I want me some Walmart maternity clothes! :'(

I'm ordering online. Walmart is the biggest store in my town. Next is jcpenney which barely has a men's department let alone maternity. I have to drive at least an hour to get to any maternity store. There is an old Nancy 20 min away but the selection is pitiful and I've bought just about all they have to offer. It sucks! May I ask where in Texas you live (you too @stephpaez‌)? I live in northeast texas about an hour north of Dallas. We regularly have 40s one day 80s the next and once the heat comes... Were all screwed
